Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided. Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites and are required for some site. Please read the listing for the campsite you are wanting to book. Some of our sites do not suit caravans. All roads require high clearance vans. If you do not like dogs or your own dogs are not very sociable Mindoo may not be the place for you. Daisy the Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle) and Paul the Pig Dog (a very gentle Bull Mastif/Catahoula) like to come and say hello to campers at The Park & The Junction. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only and may be subject to fire bans. Firewood and ice are available for purchase (cash preferred). Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available. Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away. Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd. Check in is strictly between 2 - 5pm. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows. The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning. We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities. Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water. We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8. Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend as we had the best most relaxing weekend. Despite the weather we were super comfortable, it had EVERYTHING you needed. Kathryn was awesome and very accomodating. My big pupper loved it too 🥰 This was extremely well thought out and im so greatful we got to experience it. We will deffinatley be back

Loved the fairy garden, was a fun walk with the puppies with lots to see and smell. The site was great - had everything you need and was nice and private, feeling like you’re in remote bushland without the long drive. Kathryn was extremely friendly and helpful.

Absolutely perfect, we could not recommend staying in the cabin more! Kathryn has thought of everything, right down to the smallest details. From the freshly baked sourdough and mulberry jam on arrival, to pre-filling watering cans for the kids. Everything was intentional, and so welcoming. The gardens are stunning. There’s something magical in every nook and cranny, with so many beautiful spaces to relax and unwind. My favourite was the tea garden, curling up there in the afternoon with a tea (or wine!) and a good book was bliss. The experience for the kids was just as special, with daily crafts in the fairy garden, and being able to have drinks delivered while they created made it feel like a proper little retreat for everyone. They had the best time making things, sipping milkshakes, and exploring with other children, showing off all their favourite spots. Kathryn and Phil are incredible hosts, and hearing about their future plans has us already planning our return! Don’t hesitate booking, go see for yourselves!

We absolutely loved our time at CRWL, we stayed in tree hut (1) and couldn’t fault it. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind off grid. Sharon and Stephen are great hosts and have created an incredible place to truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle. We will be back!

We stayed with our child at Kathryn and Phillip's cabin. Everything was amazing, every detail is thought through. The area is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It was very relaxing. Lots of different areas at the garden for kids, amazing crafts as well. A lot of energy and love put into this place and you can definitely see and feel it!

Fenced area around the cottage was safe for your dog, while also allowing some up close time with the horses and cows

4 nights at Hunter Downs

My Partner and I along with our dog Indi loved our stay at Jaspers Dam. This was our second stay and we have already booked our third. We loved the privacy. You feel as though you are the only ones there. The Bell tent that is already set up is immaculate and over looks the dam which comes alive at night with the sounds of nature, it was so relaxing to fall asleep to. It also has your own private toilet which is clean and well maintained. They have a lovely fire pit set up and a pile of firewood ready for you when you arrive which was plentiful. It was so magical sitting around the fire of a nighttime stargazing, we counted 8 shooting stars in 1 night. During the day we never tired of watching and listening to the abundance of Birdlife. Truly a beautiful part of the world, you feel a world away from civilisation yet it’s still so close to everything you need. Being so close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast means that we didn’t waste time travelling which meant more time in nature. Perfect for a quick weekend get away or a long stay. Our host Melanie was absolutely amazing, accommodating and quick to respond to my messages. Directions to the campsite were very clear along with signage to make finding your campsite even easier. 4wd is a must for getting to Jasper Dam Camp Spot but that’s part of what makes this spot an adventure. 10/10 and 2 thumbs up from us. Thank you for another wonderful stay on your amazing property Melanie, we can’t wait to come back 🤩🏕️🪵🥇

Weekend Trip to Larapinta

Beautiful place, absoulte gem and must be protected at all cost. The rules are basic leave the place the same or better as you found it, and be respectful. Highly recommend, the cows were friendly and their communal area is well kept with a posh portaloo and hot showers, there is also a small communal kitchen with basic appliances. We stayed in the Woody cabin which is easy 2wd access, the rest of the site is deffinalty 4wd with some steep and rough climbs.

3 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

We had the absolute best time at Eagle 🦅 Ridge. We stayed at the clamp Tent site. This provided a private stretch of the river which was just perfect. Our Jack Russell absolutely loved it. The hosts were also amazing as we requested some extra firewood and they bought it down straight away. We will certainly be back to visit Eagle 🦅 Ridge camp ground which is by far now our favourite camp site. We are both looking forward to our next trip to Eagle Ridge!!
