4 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat
We stayed at the Glamping Tent and had such a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the time relaxing and enjoying the creek.
There is mostly everything you need in the camp kitchen (4 plates, stainless steel cups, 4 of each cutlery, pots and pans), gas cooker, basin with running water, some coffee and tea.
There were 4 chairs and loungers with an umbrella to enjoy the view over the creek.
There is a composting loo and shower in the same area.
If you are more than 4 people, then recommend taking extra eating utensils and chairs.
We took a kayak and SUP board and paddled down the creek to the low bridge which was awesome and went over some rapids. Expect it to take around 2hrs to get to the bridge and have someone fetch you.
Can highly recommend this spot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Eagle Ridge is beautiful location in the granite belt. All the campsites are at the bottom of the valley next spectacular clear waters of Timbarra River.
If you are looking for a relaxing time and gorgeous scenery Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat will not let you down.

Weekend Trip to Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat
Location was superb, the Glamping tents location was private and provided a sanctuary away from the rest of world, even more so without reception (Telstra reception may exist in the area, but not really anywhere along the river).
Having a stretch of the river to yourself elevates the getaway to a whole new level.
We did have a slight hiccup that lead to cold showers on the first rainy night, but Dan and Kristy were straight on to it, even offering to visit the campsite at 10pm to fix it for us.
The camp set up is rustic, but works for a quick getaway away from the hustle and bustle.

This was such a beautiful weekend in Corrina's land. I would recommend it 100% if you want to escape the city and take a deep breath of fresh air, surrounded by animals.
Corrina is the best host. An unexpected event happened and she did everything to accommodate us.

We absolutely loved our time at Eagle Ridge bush retreat. This property is stunning and everything we needed for our weekend getaway.
The glamping site we booked had everything, from the riverside deck to our own private toilet and shower. This site was so well thought out we couldn't fault it at all. If you want a peaceful getaway by the river we strongly recommend Eagle Ridge.
Kristy and Dan were really friendly and helpful and they made the stay all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be back to enjoy this property again!

We loved a few quiet nights away at this hidden gem. We booked at short notice and had no issues finding the place with clear instructions. The site was perfect, camp fire and bench seats was a lovely little spot to sit back and watch the stars while roasting a few marshmallows. The basic toilet was an appreciated touch for the females in our group. Very private spot, did not see the host (no need - but they were very attentive and quick to respond to messages with questions) it felt very secluded though only a short drive from the town to grab supplies.
The horses came down to the damn for a nightly visit which was quite magical.
A few local sights worthwhile to visit like the lookout and suspension bridge which is home to beautiful turtles. The locals of laidley were super friendly and we had some great food from the local chippo and bakery.
If you are looking for a comfortable off grid stay (dog friendly too!) this place ticks all the boxes.

I cannot recommend Eagle Ridge Bush Resort more. Not only was it an incredible place. We glamped. The tent was set up, the BBQ ready with gas, the firewood for the fire and the bath. Solar lights already there, flanelette sheets and firewood for the in tent fireplace as well. Plus a dog water bowl.
But to tbh the best and worst parts were when I half executed a U turn properly, got my 4wd stuck, properly, in a ditch.
Jim had help sorted out immediately and by morning we had hands on ready to help.
Jim was incredible and Gaz fixed the problem.
The dogs were in heaven.
The facilities were spot on.
Just go!
