Lovely spot. The creek lulled us to sleep every night. Other campers are very far away, it is all nice amd private. Perhaps best for kids age 5+ - creek is beautiful but too deep for the littlies with no easy shallow bit, and there are some fresh cow pats about that they were keen to get amongst. Still had an amazing weekend though.

Lakeview is a truly special campsite. Site 2 was in a lovely position lakeside with plenty of space, would highly recommend it The whole campsite is well cared for and a very beautiful spot to be.

Weekend Trip to Lakeview

This is our favourite place to stay by far. The sites are large and we fit 6 people on the site with no problems. The lake is amazing for paddle boarding or kayaking and the waterslide is a hit with the kids. Our family had a wonderful weekend and we even went swimming and played volleyball! There is literally something for everyone and the grounds are always so well looked after. Hosts are lovely and we will keep coming back because we always have an amazing time!!

This is our second time staying at River Rats and it was just outstanding once again. Luke is such a great host, he mowed the manicured lawn before we arrived and dropped down a load of firewood as well. Can't recommend enough, such a perfect spot for a fish and a swim as well!

I highly recommend staying at this site. Tom and Patrick were very accomodation and prompt in their response. The site is beautiful, has great access to a creek for swimming and is private. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. 10/10

Camped next to a dam on this beautiful property. Large campsite area that we had to ourselves. Very peaceful - just the mooing of the cows as they wandered close by. Grandson had fun playing in the little creek. Dogs had a great time as well.

I loved the peace and quiet of Lake view during the week. Beautiful lake and the ducks gliding silently made for a wonderful view. Very clean area but be aware the dirt track has some deep areas so go slow.

Definitely needed the 4x4 to get up there as it was Very rocky in places, but I feel like the bit of off roading added to the experience. But definitely worth the trip up the track! What a view! This campsite was amazing. One of the best views I've had while camping. The only flaw was the giant ants nest near the campfire site. While Id expect insects out in the bush. The nest up there was huge, and we had ants everywhere. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend this spot for the view alone!
