We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Come and Camp at Noosa Equestrian Centre, a 188 acre property in the heart of the Noosa regions, with lush greenery and a peaceful tree lined creek. The perfect campsite for relaxing days spent in the beautiful hinterland, with Noosa beaches and shops just over the hill.
The property offers 80 powered sites and 100 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area.
All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained.
At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around!
Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

Camp Life By The Creek is located 30 minutes west of Gympie in Lower Wonga, on a working cattle property. We have 3 campsites available, each with creek access. We have a 2 bedroom Tiny home set away from camp sites perfect for secluded weekends away.
All sites welcome caravans, camper trailers, swags, and tents. Campfires are permitted at all sites, pending local fire bans. Our property is family-friendly, and all visitors must be self-sufficient.
We respect our neighboring properties, so excessive noise is not permitted. We look forward to meeting you on your next camping adventure!

Weekend Trip to Bellbird Lodge
Paul’s place is a gorgeous escape from the business of life, surrounded by trees and birdsong this little gem makes for a relaxing trip away for those who enjoy the tranquility of being outside. The caravan pad is totally set up with hot showers working oven and stove top, water and a comfy bed to sleep.
The swimming hole is fresh and has many small fish and even a turtle.
Paul is a friendly and attentive host and has thoughtfully created his own version of paradise. Thanks for the rest.

The facilities are well‑equipped, and everything is kept in great condition.
Nick, the caretaker, is incredibly friendly and clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the family bush cabin at Hope Valley. Anita is a very kind and hospitable host and the property is great to explore and to see animals including both domesticated and wild. The kids particularly enjoyed the animals and playing in and adventuring up and down the creek.
The family cabin is well appointed and has everything we needed to make the stay a great one. You definitely need a 4WD to get up the driveway to the cabin itself.
The outdoor hot tub (optional extra) is also great if of interest.
Hope Valley is a great location to get away from it all and to relax - we hope to return again in the future. Very highly recommended.

We love staying at Paul's hipcamp. Directions were clear, Paul was friendly and accommodating, the sites were private and the facilities clean. The caravan was gorgeous, overlooking the creek, with lots of bird life. Hot outdoor shower was an unexpected bonus! We would definitely come back and stay.

A beautiful and peaceful space with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, vege garden, birds, frogs, privacy. I loved using the outdoor bath. Bathroom and toilet spaces are very functional and clean.
I love that there is no phone service, beautiful space to connect with nature. Used herbs and lots of beautiful spinach from the garden.
Kenilworth and Imbil towns 15 minute drive, and can get service there if you need.

Our family had such a wonderful weekend away at Anita’s beautiful property. It was so peaceful, we explored the area on foot, along the creek and also in our 4WD up to a lookout high on the ridge. The horses visited us at our cabin several times, which was a highlight. The cabin was so private we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Definitely need a 4WD! And the drive to Anita’s property is so beautiful too.

We loved our stay, we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. A really great spot and the caretaker (nick) was beyond helpful and so knowledgeable. We even caught some yellow belly perch in the dam. Facilities were great. We will definitely be back. Absolutely loved this hip camp.

When to go
The busiest seasons on the Sunshine Coast are during the summer school holidays (December and January) and around Easter. At those times, you’ll need to book as far ahead as you can. The weather is great year-round, with temperatures averaging 28C (82F) in summer and 20C (68F) in winter.
Know before you go
- Rainbow Beach is a legally gazetted road for 4WD vehicles only, where road rules and speed limits must be followed.
- The closest National Park campsites to Rainbow Beach are at Poverty Point and Freshwater, which has both tent and trailer camping.
- Sand tobogganing is banned within Great Sandy National Park.
- Camping permits are required for all Queensland parks, forest and reserves and must be booked online and paid for before arrival.
