We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity.

Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Juliet and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!)
Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn.
We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited. No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok!
Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

We are agile wallaby carers, with the rescued joeys being released back into the forest from here. After a day of kayaking or hiking or exploring the area we also offer a sunset massage (as available ) by a local masseuse who lives on the property. A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy.
Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls.
The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery.
An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.
Facilities include: septic toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request) and spacious sites

Bring your tent, car, caravan or motor home...... there is plenty of room! The Meadow is located in a sleepy little rural area at the end of a road, so there is no through traffic and quite private.
There is an abundance of wild life wandering through from the rainforest to the neighboring cattle property including a huge range of birds, numerous wallaby's, and the occasional cassowary.
I do have a resident cow on the property. Stewie is extremely friendly and will come to the fence for a pat and will love you even more if you feed him a slice of bread or a carrot. He has no spacial awareness though, so please don’t enter his paddock….. it is pretty scary having a 600kg “puppy” with very big horns bounding toward you wanting to play!
The water is tank/bore which is fine for drinking and I am happy for you to fill your water tanks during your stay but I do ask that you use it sparingly…….. no washing of vehicles or vans please 🙏
With only 1 site, you will absolutely not be crowded in. There are no toilet or shower facilities available so you will need to be fully self contained.
This is the perfect base to explore all that the Daintree, Port Douglas and Atherton Tablelands areas have on offer.
Julatten Hotel is a great spot for a cold drink and a lovely meal, with live music on the weekends. 9 Mile Store is 2km from your site and has fuel, some groceries items and takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking. Mossman is only 18km away for most other supplies and services.

Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions.
We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity.
In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply a local outlet. See Facebook: Pink's Produce, Miallo.
Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings.
Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Juliet and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!)
Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn.
We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited. No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok!
Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

denuded cattle land, and now we are surrounded by the most beautiful rainforest.
We planted approximately 8000 trees.!
We have 4 sites available all close to the river, and can provide water as well as access to our toilet. We are agile wallaby carers, with the rescued joeys being released back into the forest from here. After a day of kayaking or hiking or exploring the area we also offer a sunset massage (as available ) by a local masseuse who lives on the property. Watch the stars in the night sky at your own campfire.

A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy.
Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls.
The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery.
An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.
Facilities include: septic toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request) and spacious sites
Children and pet friendly.
Guests are advised to only light fires in designated areas and these must be fully extinguished before departure.

Three spacious spots are available a few short meters from the edge of a large dam (sites can be seen from the farm road) with another completely secluded site amongst the bushland. Do some hiking or 4 wheel driving around the hundred acres with our 4 wheel driving tracks.
Meet the Farm Animals where campers can chat with the menagerie of animals we have on the farm such as Clydesdale horses, camels, sheep, cows, chickens, buffalo, peafowl, ducks and friendly geese. Hold newly hatched poultry, friendly chickens and maybe even lambs. Bookings are essential come by the farmhouse and meet at the gazebo.
We are 10mins from Dimbulah or 20mins to Mareeba with their many attractions. We can tell you all about the many attractions and activities this area has to offer.
Please Note: Cattle Creek and Waterfront Campsites are accessible by 2WD. The other campsites are 4WD access only and with off road campers/caravans only (high clearance to get through a dry creek crossing). These are self contained sites so please take your own shower and toilet facilities and take away all waste. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be supervised at all times for the protection of the sheep, poultry, wildlife and not to be brought to the house yard. Sorry no motorbikes or ATV’s.

Bring your tent, car, caravan or motor home...... there is plenty of room! The Meadow is located in a sleepy little rural area at the end of a road, so there is no through traffic and quite private.
There is an abundance of wild life wandering through from the rainforest to the neighboring cattle property including a huge range of birds, numerous wallaby's, and the occasional cassowary.
I do have a resident cow on the property. Stewie is extremely friendly and will come to the fence for a pat and will love you even more if you feed him a slice of bread or a carrot. He has no spacial awareness though, so please don’t enter his paddock….. it is pretty scary having a 600kg “puppy” with very big horns bounding toward you wanting to play!
The water is tank/bore which is fine for drinking and I am happy for you to fill your water tanks during your stay but I do ask that you use it sparingly…….. no washing of vehicles or vans please 🙏
With only 1 site, you will absolutely not be crowded in. There are no toilet or shower facilities available so you will need to be fully self contained.
This is the perfect base to explore all that the Daintree, Port Douglas and Atherton Tablelands areas have on offer.
Julatten Hotel is a great spot for a cold drink and a lovely meal, with live music on the weekends. 9 Mile Store is 2km from your site and has fuel, some groceries items and takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking. Mossman is only 18km away for most other supplies and services.

We had a great few days here. Such a beautiful property right along the creek in which we spent alot of time in.
The site had the best grass we have ever seen at a campsite! It was beautifully mowed & presented. There was plenty of room for our caravan.
Glen was a great host & we loved seeing his dogs take a dip in the creek of an afternoon.
So relaxing & peaceful.

A really lovely open spot close to the beach. We arrived after some very heavy rain, but the hosts were kind enough to clear a higher, drier area for us as the usual camping spot was flooded.
The small lake is beautiful and attracts lots of birds – the birdsong is constant and really relaxing. We’d love to come back and stay again in better weather!

The best about our stay: No phone reception!! (At least not with Optus haha)

Hectic Valley is a young and working farm and we really enjoyed our stay! The sites are very generous, with plenty of shady trees (bring your hammock!) and some right next to the dam which hosts many birds and some of the farms poultry. Its dog friendly with lovely scenery and little bush tracks. Campfires allowed and some fire rings are provided. In the booking was the option to include the animal feeding in the morning which I'm so glad we did! We were very warmely welcomed and everyone had a wonderful time feeding and playing with the baby goats, chickens and geese, goats and pigs, camels and water buffalos and many more! Best stay for families with children including groups of families!

What a special little gem of a campsite .. our site had tap water and power , and plenty of room for our ute and camper trailer setup . Peaceful river with sandy bank is only 50 m down some steps. Kayaks, canoes and sun lounge are provided too . Judy and Don are great hosts and very welcoming onto their picturesque property ... not our first time here and we will be back again and again. VERY hard to beat !
