It is the perfect destination to forget life's worries and relax in a beautiful natural environment. We are happy for you to enjoy riding push bikes on the property and to enjoy music around your campsite. Bring your kids, dogs, push bikes, or even a canoe and get back to nature! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing. We also have a mini camp shop on site that's also stocked with the hire items you will notice in the extras section(on the hipcamp app) and there are also many more items you may forget like frozen bread, milk and even ice also including but not limited to (depending on availability) - * Barista made coffees (by prior booking) * Ham & Cheese croissants (by prior booking) * Chopped Fire wood (Delivered to your camp) * Smoker Rental * Solar Panel Rental * Water Drum Rental * Camp toilet Rental *Generator Hire *Table Hire *Battery Hire *12v Fridge/freezer hire If you are requiring any of the above you can pay us in cash or you can check out these most of these options on the hipcamp app or give us a call or text to arrange. There is power down at the dam and please take your rubbish with you on departure and clean up after yourselves. Although most of all we want you to have a great time! We are 10 minutes from Gympie, 2 hours from Brisbane and an hour to the Sunshine Coast or Hervey Bay.

We have 69 acres within the Barambah Wine Trail (which is located in Moffatdale, near Murgon, QLD). Our property backs onto the Bjelke Petersen Dam. Our property offers direct access to Lake Barambah from your large grassy campsite. You can enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake while relaxing around your camp fire.The lake itself is wide and deep, and safe for swimming (properly supervised) and all your favourite water activities. There is also basic access to launch small boats.Dusty Hill Wines is just down the road and offers local wine tasting and some great meals in their restaurant. There are also some other wineries in the area you can explore and enjoy.If you want to get your heart rate up, we are 25 minutes from Kinombi Falls where you can enjoy a number of stairs to get to the top. The waterfall is often quite small but the surrounding area is beautiful and the stairs are a good workout.You will need to be fully self contained as we have no showers or toilets available. Campers will need to take all waste with them on departure. Pets are welcome.

Spacious camping for 9 SELF-CONTAINED RV's ONLY, no tents, sorry. Our property is a 100 hectare cattle farm with 1 km of river frontage. Fire pits and firewood is located in camping areas, FREE! This a great spot to KAYAK and wet your line with bass, saratoga, sooty grunter and lots of catfish! Platypus inhabit the river too, so bring your camera. Biking and bush walking are popular with guests. Please note that the river bank is quite steep. We recently had 2 access tracks constructed to the river for easier KAYAK launching. We are pet friendly and welcome SELF-CONTAINED RV campers only (council regulations). Our wetland has lots of bird life with quite a few raising young. All rooms have a TV and air conditioning. Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Our property has a mix of open flat grassed areas surrounded by gum trees. Lakeside is a large, naturally occurring waterhole where you can fish, kayak and swim. Beside the water's edge you may see cattle and horses roaming freely in area. There is plenty of wildlife in trees. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Woowoonga National Park and Wongi National Park are located close by, which are home to various wildlife including little red flying foxes, yellow-bellied gliders, sugar gliders, bandicoots, pademelons and wallabies. Wongi is also well known for its wetlands and waterholes. Dogs welcome.
