Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Stayed at Carbeen Camping and Farmstay over the New Year. It is a relaxing location, flat and well looked after. Host are lovely people, checked in with us every day to ensure everything was ok. They even supplied free fire wood. Shame the dam was a little too weedy for a swim. Lots of kangaroos of an evening coming to the dam for a drink. Even had the odd huge goanna wonder thru campsite a few times. Will be back.
