Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing.
Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ.
Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.
So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area.
Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience.

There is a firepit provided, and plenty of firewood around the place for you to help yourself to. We also welcome four-legged family members! We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

There is a 5 room donga (range of queen, double and twin (bunks) rooms, as well as a queen+bunks caravan (could sleep a family of 4). There is also a kitchen/lounge donga, with dishwasher, microwave, and fridges. The bathroom donga has 2 showers and 3 toilets.
Camping - power and water sites available, or just bush camp! (facilities still available to use)
The site is located above the Walsh River - out of flood zone, so the water is generally a short walk away (maybe 100m). The river is very shady and kid friendly. No pets sorry.

Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.

This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests

Sure, World Heritage-listed icons might lure you out of the park’s surroundings but you can expect to walk away with holiday memories of what’s inside the park’s gates too; between the two swimming pools, slides, splash park, and pedal cars.
If timing your visit for school holidays, be sure to call ahead to find out what activities are planned in-park – so parents can have some well-earned downtime and kids can burn off energy.

We have a secluded little spot on the Walsh River, on our 100 acre farm. We welcome self contained campers (caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, tents etc), however also have accommodation available. Let us know if you would like to bring any toys (bikes, quads, buggies)!
There are 2 options - book accommodation (bedroom, kitchen, lounge, air conditioning, tv, bathroom, laundry...) or book camping (use as much of the facilities as you like, apart from bedrooms - including power, kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc)
There is a 5 room donga (range of queen, double and twin (bunks) rooms, as well as a queen+bunks caravan (could sleep a family of 4). There is also a kitchen/lounge donga, with dishwasher, microwave, and fridges. The bathroom donga has 2 showers and 3 toilets.
Camping - power and water sites available, or just bush camp! (facilities still available to use)
The site is located above the Walsh River - out of flood zone, so the water is generally a short walk away (maybe 100m). The river is very shady and kid friendly. No pets sorry.

Creek is beautiful & filled very quick with rain
Walk to the falls was great.

We had a wonderful stay here. Dean is an incredibly kind and welcoming host—he greeted us at the gate, showed us around the campground, and shared lots of helpful local advice. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. The campground has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and being able to take a refreshing dip in the creek was a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-run camping experience.

Great property, with amazing views from the spot we camped at, being Valley views. Enjoyed the scenic walk to the waterfall and enjoyed a refreshing swim.
Definitely would stay again and loved how the Valley view camp spot, had a covered area as weren't sure if a storm would come that night and only brought the swag. Water and toilet with amazing view.
