There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay. All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area. Our family had such a wonderful weekend away at Anita’s beautiful property. It was so peaceful, we explored the area on foot, along the creek and also in our 4WD up to a lookout high on the ridge. The horses visited us at our cabin several times, which was a highlight. The cabin was so private we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Definitely need a 4WD! And the drive to Anita’s property is so beautiful too.

It’s a lovely place to relax, and we had a great time there. There were sheep and alpacas right outside our yard. We also went fishing at the dam — didn’t catch anything, but the sunset was absolutely divine. Recommend for families with young kids.

Honestly the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable and cosy. Plenty of open space outside and great big firepit which we enjoyed. Cleanest composting toilet i have seen so far, can't say I'm much of a fan of them due to bad experiences but this one was very clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring and hiking up to the Ridge, what a view! We had such a wonderful trip and will definitely be back again and again.

We truly enjoyed having heaps of space in nature, extra quiet nights and everything else that comes along with it. Place was as described and we didn't lack anything. Planning to go back again. Btw, you definitely need 4wd to get there. Lengths of the road are not suitable for a regular car.

This was such a special weekend with my brother in law and father in law. This place is spectacular, the cabin is fantastic, very comfortable and warm with all the amenities you need. The fire pits are massive, we had a huge fire. The animals around the property are very friendly. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. This is a new favourite spot, can't wait to take the wife and kids ds there.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Hope Valley family cabin. The cabin is equipped with everything you need as well as lots of extra blankets for cold winter nights. We sat beside an open fire enjoying the scenery and visits from the horses. The hot shower was amazing!! Anita is a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Would highly recommend Hope Valley if you’re looking for peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting (AND pet friendly). We would love to stay again. But definitely for longer next time to allow for more walks and exploration of the property! Thank you Anita.

Mel is very knowledgeable in regards to horses and even bought down a beautiful horse to meet!
