Anduramba Bush Camping is located on a 300 acre property approximately 15 minutes south of Blackbutt, Qld. The campsite is on top of a hill with great views. There’s a small cabin on site, you can book the campsite either with or without this. The cabin is quite basic, it has 12v lighting with a USB port suitable for charging phones etc, and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), but you'll need to bring your own bedding.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in.
The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type.
Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you.
Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban.
We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. Get your morning caffeine fix as well as bagged ice, firewood, ice creams, snacks, cold drinks etc etc
Then we have the old school principals residence aka “The Bush Holiday House“. It is fully self-contained and all linen is provided.
Just BYO food & drinks. We offer this for one night stays and longer.
Jimna is a tiny town immersed in the Australian bush; with nearby gorges, ravines, creeks and waterfalls - some wild & spectacular places to see.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Weekend Trip to Bellbird Lodge
Paul’s place is a gorgeous escape from the business of life, surrounded by trees and birdsong this little gem makes for a relaxing trip away for those who enjoy the tranquility of being outside. The caravan pad is totally set up with hot showers working oven and stove top, water and a comfy bed to sleep.
The swimming hole is fresh and has many small fish and even a turtle.
Paul is a friendly and attentive host and has thoughtfully created his own version of paradise. Thanks for the rest.

Weekend Trip to Bushland Waters
So I think the biggest surprise for me was that you can't swim. The waterfall (photographed) is actually a small water feature less than 0.6m deep, there is only shallow stagnant water, no where to swim. But it does make a pretty relaxing sounds.
However, we had an amazing time!!! The hammocks were so relaxing, the outside bathtubs had hot water! It was romantic and calming. The yurt really is so unique and comfortable. We went in summer and even without AC, the fan provided and the design of the tent- was suprisingly cool.
Worth noting very limited cooking facilities e.g. camp stove and small BBQ, no microwave. But the pub in town makes a brilliant steak and parmy.
No bubbly or charcuterie board (for display only - not provided)
Mold on yurt - honestly it was immaculately clean inside and an outside white fabric structure will have this but worth noting if you have asthma or immunocompromised.
Overall would stay again. They had the softest pillows and bathmat. Bathroom is immaculate clean and lovely smelling with fresh towels provided.
Communication was easy and we had our privacy. Is about 500m from main house, but we didn't see another soul and hosts were lovely about giving directions.

We love staying at Paul's hipcamp. Directions were clear, Paul was friendly and accommodating, the sites were private and the facilities clean. The caravan was gorgeous, overlooking the creek, with lots of bird life. Hot outdoor shower was an unexpected bonus! We would definitely come back and stay.

Great cabins in a peaceful spot beside a creek. I stayed there on my own as a mini-retreat and it was perfect. Jimmy was very kind and helpful and respectful of my space. I'd be very happy to stay there again.

My partner and I needed somewhere special and quiet to reconnect away from the hustle and bustle of city life… and this place more than delivered! Every little detail has been thought of for an exceptional level of comfort but it still feels like a true bush camping experience. The waterfall at the front of your bed each morning, the bathtubs for bubble baths under the stars, and the level of care, cleanliness and pride that goes into it is a credit to them. Will definitely be back to enjoy again 🫶

Weekend Trip to Bushland Waters
Bev and Ian were perfect hosts. They have thought of absolutely everything - right down to the hamper of luxuries and great quality bath products. Everything is provided - just bring food and drinks. For those who want to camp with luxury this is fantastic. Baths under the stars are a highlight and the tent is superb. Ian's lanscaping and waterfalls are fantastic and Bev's touches are apparent throughout. Well worth the money for the solitude. five stars.

Booked a one night stay here for my girlfriend and I’s 1 year anniversary. I got to say it was absolutely perfect. The owner Bev was incredibly kind, I had contacted her prior to the stay to set up an anniversary surprise and she nailed it. Had the most beautiful flowers on the bed along with rose petals set up in a heart, chocolates, face masks, candles for the baths, and that’s not even half of it. 1 night at Bushland Waters
Me and my partner stayed here and we have to say it was the most beautiful & tranquil stay we have had so far in Australia. Bev & Ian were so lovely, helpful and attentive.
The photos really do not do it justice. From the little welcome hamper, to the outside bathtubs looking at the stary sky it was absolutely incredible. Bev & Ian provided everything you could need to make this truly the most beautiful little stay. We would definitely recommend booking & will hopefully return!!

Weekend Trip to Cahoola Cabins and Camping
What an amazing place to stay. The house's were very nice. We stayed 2 nites and it was just so relaxing. The creek behind was great to take our chairs to and sit in. Wasn't much water as not much rain but was still beautiful. We definitely will be back

Well, where do I start!
The effort that was put into creating this absolute, little slice of paradise became evident on arrival. The pictures are amazing and they don't do it justice!
Hats of to the both of you for time you have taken and the vision required to establish such a space.
I highly highly recommend staying even if it's just for the night, you won't forget the experience and you definitely won't regret it!

"Cahoola Cabins" - a beautiful place to connect with family and relax in nature and tranquillity. The cabins are cute and well-equipped. The host, Jimmy, is really helpful, approachable and a pleasure to deal with. I'm looking forward to returning with a group of friends and family who enjoy camping and caravanning, as it's a great place to gather together.
