We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book. Booking requests after 6pm may be accepted the next morning. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire and coals are fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbors. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit, covered area, picnic table, hammocks and seasonal fresh water streams. As we are nestled in the rainforest, phone reception can vary, which is perfect for stepping away from day to day life (but it is possible to head back up the track to pick up better coverage) The area offers a variety of nature walks and only a short drive to Woombye, Palmwoods, Montville, Hinterland National Parks and also convenient access to the many beaches and attractions on the coast.

Highly recommend this camp! The property and area is stunning, amazing views of rolling mountains and the dam in the distance, massive campsite and a lovely camp fire area with big rocks to sit on and big cactus! Bebe and family were so accomodating and lovely, amazing experience all round. My puppy loved it too! We will definitely be back :)

On arrival we were meet by the owner Paul & he’s dogs ,he showed us ,where our site was,with the access driveway to camp site freshly made. A nice & very secluded camp site (2) very well maintained beside the creek which was flowing but very low as it’s the dry season They was a nice swimming hole,with a bit a rough track to it Also a great eco toilet hut Throughly recommended the place

This is an excellent property. The individual sites are nice and private with ample space. The toilets are clean and tidy and well maintained. Access to the dam for a swim is also excellent. I have been a couple of times now and will certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the family bush cabin at Hope Valley. Anita is a very kind and hospitable host and the property is great to explore and to see animals including both domesticated and wild. The kids particularly enjoyed the animals and playing in and adventuring up and down the creek. The family cabin is well appointed and has everything we needed to make the stay a great one. You definitely need a 4WD to get up the driveway to the cabin itself. The outdoor hot tub (optional extra) is also great if of interest. Hope Valley is a great location to get away from it all and to relax - we hope to return again in the future. Very highly recommended.

Hope Valley is a beautiful place to camp. We stayed at Pilgrims Rest site, and we were right on the edge of the creek. The separation of the sites in my opinion is fantastic. I couldn't hear anything other than the sound of nature and the creek flowing. The drive in along Amamoor Creek Road has some great views, but be aware of livestock as they can sit pretty close to edge of the road. Anita is a great host. She stopped in and said hello shortly after we arrived. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. This was our first Hipcamp experience and I'm glad I chose this one as a starting point. Thank you Anita.

Tony has a beautiful spot for all campers and camper dogs. Very beautiful and quiet place to unwind from the fast pace day to day life. I will definitely be making a return back here. Tony is also very friendly and is very responsive in messaging and assisting on the camp ground if needed.

This was our second time staying at Rustic Resort, but beside the dam this time. Beautiful location right beside the dam, lovely flat patch to set up camp on. Toilet amenities were clean. We loved watching the cows graze on the hill, and the wildlife/birdlife. My dog particularly loved swimming in the dam to cool down - as did we! And as always, it was lovely to have the hostess, Doris, popped in for a chat. Given this little peace of paradise is just 4t mins from home, it makes for a great getaway and we will most definitely be back! Thanks for having us again, Peter & Doris!
