Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. We really enjoyed our time, we had an easy time making our way, the driving instructions where clear and we had no issues getting there. We where at site 6 which wasn't perfectly level but not a big slope, perfect for our small camper trailer, though lots of shade so bring long extentions if you need to bring in some solar. We wish that the camping down near the creek was still available but absolutely out of the control of anyone besides council! The creek was beautiful and cool, we saw plenty of wildlife around including a Goana and plenty of roos and bird life around. We really enjoyed being invited to have some damper with the hosts and other campers, makes a great atmosphere!

Had an absolute wonderful stay down by the lake at Tremayne. Fantastic hosts Neil & Joss, guide you to your campsite and swttle you in for your stay. Heading down to the lakeside is some steep downhillbsections and if your towing a van need to take some time to manuvre vehicle etc, but well worth the the stay if you have the skill. Weekend Trip to Riverdell_Country

Beautiful place to camp. People were great to deal with and everything was easy to follow. Have to say also probably the cleanest portable toilets I've seen. Will.venture back some time.

Idyllic spot right on the edge of lake. But all those sites around Lake are open to view of (almost) every other site. Great for families/groups.

Weekend Trip to Woombye Rainforest Escape

Absolutely loved our stay at WRE. Although we decided to leave earlier due to storms, the one day and night gave us a taste of how before this place was, rainforest was just so beautiful and it was so secluded, we loved having it all to ourselves and our dogs loved the freedom to explore. Jacqui was also a fantastic host, making us feel very comfortable and also there to check in to make sure we were ok after the storm. Thanks so much Jacqui, it was a privilege to stay at your property, we look forward to coming back soon 🤗

We loved our stay at 'A place to call home'. Thea was so welcoming and hospitable. She's got the best spot for big groups and it's truly picturesque. The creek is right there. Not deep (in that spot) but it was all we needed... and the days were hot. We had a memorable stay and we most certainly will be back!!
