We are within easy reach of Main Range National Park, Mount Cordeaux, and Mount Mitchell, as well as the Historic Maryvale Crown Hotel and Spicers Resort. Warwick is half an hour away. Horses/cattle live here so animal droppings are to be expected and cattle may bellow from time to time, it is a working farm after all. Please do not feed the horses or cattle. Pets are welcome but must be kept on leash/restrained at night. Pets must not disturb any of the livestock or native animals in the area. If you a lucky you may even spot platypus, there is abundant birdlife, bandicoots and bettongs if you are a nature lover. Campers must be fully self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure, as per the 'leave no trace' policy. Please leave logs supplied for seating for the use of all campers. BYO firewood.

This is a Historic Area it should be respected and enjoyed by all. If you have plans to do the Lincoln Wreck or Steamers while staying please do some research either by Google or YouTube or ask us any questions please. These are wilderness walks that need to be treated with respect. Border Main Range National Park. Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks. Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites. Can purchase bags off wood at property bags $10. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air. **Our camping sites vary in size and proximity to others. If you want to come with a group with several vehicles etc, please send a message rather than book separate sites. We will help find a site which suits your needs. We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

What a wonderful spot for some peace and quiet! We had a great lunch at the Maryvale pub before heading down. Well maintained camping area, nice level ground and a good-sized fire pit. The creek is beautiful, the stars are amazing, and satellite spotting is always fun. The cows and horses dropped by too!

From the moment I rounded the bend and looked down on the camp-site, I knew I was somewhere special. A large flat grassy space with a ready-made firepit, right beside a creek lined with trees. The hill behind the site means this beautiful spot is secluded, and you have it all to yourself! We saw and heard maybe half a dozen cars drive past the whole time we were there, and the only other sounds were birds and insects, and of course the resident beasts! One of my dogs was not very keen on the horse and cattle visits! But they were inquisitive and friendly, and my other dog got to say hello. The creek was gently babbling and the perfect temperature, with easy access to get cooled off and sit and enjoy the serenity. If you're a self sufficient camper who loves your own space, do not go past this spot! I will be back as soon as I can manage it. 🙂

Very private site all to our selves perfect for tent camping! Road near by but no noise at all. Great fire pit, and beautiful little creek perfect for a dip! A bit exposed so be sure to have your own gazebo etc. Unfortunately we timed our visit with the arrival of a billion flies but otherwise great place to camp!

Absolutely gorgeous location and fantastic facilities!! Teamed with the very lovely Jacqui and her husband, it really is the ideal location to go away for a weekend break, or a week long unplug from the world. The creek is so beautiful, bubbling away in the background with lush green grass across the field, perfect to walk around to ground yourself, or the kids to kick the footy. The facilities and very clean and perfect to wash away the day. This is my second time camping here and I can’t recommend it enough. A+++

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Please note this farm is for SELF SUFFICIENT campers only. You MUST have your own toilet and you must take All of your waste with you. This is our home! Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority! One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.
