We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away.
We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️

160 acres of working goat and alpaca farm on the highlands of the Darling Downs, only 8 km from the New England Highway.
All sites are private and secluded with great views, great sunsets, and starry night skies. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas.
There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike.
Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. Campfires permitted at our discretion (please ask first - depending on weather conditions). You'll need to BYO wood.
Campers MUST have their own toilet. The standard "Pack it in. Pack it out" rules apply.
All sites are accessible by STANDARD HEIGHT 2WD however 4WD may be required if towing.
There is a 'special' site reserved for Larger RVs and Caravans.

Bush Camp campsite is further down the back of the property, nearer the bush, downhill, and is suitable for 4wd / SUV vehicles and off-road / higher clearance RV's and tents. However access is fairly easy and this is only a recommendation.
Coobindah is just under 2 hours from Brisbane and is located on the Great Dividing Range. It boasts crisp mountain air and glorious views from the hills.

Your camp spot is a flat, grassy field with fantastic views and privately located on the block next to but away from the main house. Access is just off the road and down a slight grassy slope - suitable for 4WDs and most off road caravans or camper trailers.
All guests must be fully self- contained with shower, water and toilet facilities. There is a tap with fresh rainwater which can be used for boiling the kettle, washing up etc (dependent on property water levels as we are completely tank water reliant). Please take all rubbish with you.

I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.
All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area.

160 acres of working goat and alpaca farm on the highlands of the Darling Downs, only 8 km from the New England Highway.
All sites are private and secluded with great views, great sunsets, and starry night skies. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas.
There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike.
Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. Campfires permitted at our discretion (please ask first - depending on weather conditions). You'll need to BYO wood.
Campers MUST have their own toilet. The standard "Pack it in. Pack it out" rules apply.
All sites are accessible by STANDARD HEIGHT 2WD however 4WD may be required if towing.
There is a 'special' site reserved for Larger RVs and Caravans.
Cooby Dam is only minutes away for fishing, bird watching, Kayaking and canoeing

Relax under the shade of the trees, warm yourself by the campfire, or go walking or mountain biking on our farm. Each campsite has its own rock firepit, and firewood is available (quality split ironbark firewood available in 'extras').
Wildlife often seen on the property, and there's currently no livestock in the paddocks.
Pet friendly, family friendly, a quiet retreat for couples / singles, or group bookings available.
Old Peppertree campsite is an elevated campsite that has all weather access and is suitable for 2wd and 4wd vehicles and all RV's and tents.
Bush Camp campsite is further down the back of the property, nearer the bush, downhill, and is suitable for 4wd / SUV vehicles and off-road / higher clearance RV's and tents. However access is fairly easy and this is only a recommendation.
Coobindah is just under 2 hours from Brisbane and is located on the Great Dividing Range. It boasts crisp mountain air and glorious views from the hills.

Lake Cooby (Cooby Dam) is just 3 mins down the road; fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, bush walking, picnic area and playground.

Come and enjoy these camp sites, situated on the banks of Emu Creek which has just had a nice fresh flow.
Enjoy the swimming holes whilst they last!
There is partial shade and relatively level area to camp. Great bird watching, spot a platypus if you are lucky.
Camp fires allowed pending the current drought conditions.
Lots to do nearby- horse riding at Cowboy Up, drive up to the Bunyas with a couple of national parks close by.
Crows Nest is fast becoming a town not to be missed with the renovation of the Nolan Store, Crows Nest Cordials factory, visit the Valley of Diamonds.
There are no facilities here, campers will need to BYO camp toilet and leave no trace.

We are a short walk or drive from NASH Horse Treking for those who want to do a pub lunch ride on a horse. It is a fantastic experience so Google them to book. We are a very short 900m bicycle ride from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BRVT) which is one of the must-do cycle treks in the southern hemisphere. If you or your crew need a place to stay while riding the trail then this is perfect for you.
The town of Esk and two major dams are very close by where you can browse the antique shops, waterski, or fish to your heart's content.

Our five acre property on the edge of the Great Dividing Range escarpment is just 10-15 minutes from the Toowoomba CBD. Fantastic mountain and valley views, quiet rural location but just minutes from golf, supermarkets, takeaways, pubs, restaurants, parks and Toowoomba's famous Picnic Point.
Your camp spot is a flat, grassy field with fantastic views and privately located on the block next to but away from the main house. Access is just off the road and down a slight grassy slope - suitable for 4WDs and most off road caravans or camper trailers.
All guests must be fully self- contained with shower, water and toilet facilities. There is a tap with fresh rainwater which can be used for boiling the kettle, washing up etc (dependent on property water levels as we are completely tank water reliant). Please take all rubbish with you.
PLEASE NOTE: Access to our site can be weather dependent. The slope onto the site can mean that if there has been significant rain getting back up may be challenging, especially if towing a van or camper trailer. Please check with us for conditions before you arrive if you have any concerns.

Lalapanzi Heights is a secluded semi-developed exclusive campsite about 400m away from the dwellings and a base for bush hiking, exploration, bird watching or just relaxing.
Your bookings are exclusive, so once you have booked, the other sites are blocked off.

Privacy is guaranteed with a number of spacious sites available along two seasonal creeks and one site overlooking rolling hills and distant mountains.
As a working cattle farm there are often inquisitive calves around.
There are tracks right around the property for walking and exploring. You may see some of the local wildlife which include Rat Kangaroos and possums (both nocturnal), tree goanna, wallabies, echidna and many bird species.

You will have a 5-acres to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is available for you if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Toilet is a composting toot. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property.
Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night.
The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.
All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area.

At Le Jackz you come to relax and unwind and allow nature to be your therapist.The property is located near Maclagan, a small town situated at the foothills of Bunya Mountains National Park. The majestic Bunya Mountains were formed 30 million years ago and thought to be the remains of an old volcano. The national park features both wet and dry rainforests, grasslands and open bush supporting a diverse range of plant and animal species. From December to March, Bunya pine trees drop cones containing edible seeds known as Bunya nuts. For those keen to do a bit of site-seeing, there is an abundance of nature walks, cycling, historical tours in Toowoomba and Dalby. NOTE: dry weather access only. Valley View was a peaceful campsite for me and my two active dogs. Great views to the North, South and West and perfect screening trees to the East. Superb opportunities for sunrise and sunset photos as well as a nice dark sky for astrophotography. Laura, was excellent with her communications and Neil was very welcoming and good for a chat. We will happily return.

Love the location and setup, a beautiful place all to yourself with great views of the surrounding mountains. Every thing you need in once place, with a beautiful bathroom with hot bath, and flushable toilet…of course with beautiful view. And a nice outside shower and fire pit. Definitely worth another few vissits to hike to mountains and soundings. Catherine is a super host and always responded with very accurate and informative information.

What a beautiful spot! Quiet, green, hills for walking and tiring out the puppies 🤭. We were lucky to snag this camp to ourselves for a weekend! The owners have setup a little off grid kitchen and bathroom which added something we don’t get very often in the bush. Their beautiful mareemas camped up with us while we were there too! We had booked the “old fig tree spot” but found “oak tree” to be a bit flatter and shaded. Picnic table, chairs and table at both sites. Thank you for a great camp!

Lalipanzi is an absolute hidden gem, and it is the most well set up Hipcamp I have been to! Rodger has done a wonderful job setting up the campsite with EVERYTHING you could possibly dream of. As experienced campers we are used to bringing everything with us and it was such a treat to have everything ready for us. It was the perfect place to relax with my group of friends after hiking the nearby Tabletop Mountain (definitely check it out!). We will absolutely be returning and we can’t thank Rodger and Jenny enough for being such great hosts!

Rodger and Jenny have made the most comfortable campsite I have ever stayed at. They are naturally wonderful hosts and were so helpful and kind, assisting us with some 4WD trouble up the track (it was pretty full on! A very cool experience but be sure your car is cut out for it) and gave us a tour of the campsite and its facilities. This campsite had absolutely everything you could ever need. Solar powered fridge, sink, drying rack, cleaning cloths and soaps, pots and pans, a gas burner, trash cans, hand soaps, USB chargers, teas and coffees, all sorts of cutlery and dishes, a first aid kit. Quite literally everything you could ever need. I spent the whole trip thinking ‘that is such a great idea!’
It is clear that Rodger and Jenny put so much effort into their beautiful campsite and we were so blessed to be able to stay there.

This was the best Hipcamp that I have stayed at thus far. I went with my two large bread dogs and we camped in a tent. The view was stunning, it truly felt like a private getaway. Rodger and Jenny have set up a fantastic site with everything you could need, including a full kitchen, pots, pans, stove, kettle and a fridge. The bathroom is also fantastic and the shower was lovely and refreshing during the heatwave. Rodger and Jenny were also incredible hosts, meeting me upon arrival and helping get my gear up to the site as I only have a 2WD. We will absolutely be back!!

Great little quiet and private spot, perfect for the weekend and a great base to explore from: The Bunya Mountains, Cooyar, Palms National Park, Coomba Falls and Muntapa Tunnel.
Camping is on a nice flat spot next to the dam, with a couple of fire pits and plenty of fire wood to be found. The owners dog Mia is really sweet too :)

Quiet location, easy to access level camp. Well maintained. Shame the creek was a bit overgrown in this hot summer season.
We could hear a few cars and the campers at the other site occassionally but only because the area was so quiet. Mark was very helpful and communicated well.
