Staying in Nisha's peaceful, welcoming garden right on the Three Falls scenic loop has been a highlight for our family of seven. Room for the kids to play, beatiful views, great base for exploring the tablelands, and no road noise. I wish we could've stayed longer!

The peace and quiet was awesome. Arthur and Cheryl both came to check in on us and let us know where to find everything and were very welcoming. Also very clean camp areas and Site 4 was nice an private and our dogs loved being off leash, will definitely visit again soon. Had place to ourselves the first night, second night some campers came in but we couldn’t see or hear them.

Weekend Trip to Three Falls Holiday Millaa Millaa

Nisha has a very special little piece of paradise. She is a very warm and friendly host and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. We loved having the camping area to ourselves with its own entry so you're not disturbing anyone as you come and go. The toilet and shower are clean and functional and close to the camping area. It really felt like being on a little trip away from home when you open the shower door and step out into the beautiful gardens on the property. The property is close to attractions, we enjoyed a walk to Nandroya Falls and visited Mungalli tea house. In the evenings we enjoyed a camp fire. But, the highlight for us has to be meeting Nisha's chickens and ducks! Our 10month old baby loved watching the birds scratch around and have their food. Nisha kindly gave us mandarins, passionfruit, eggs and pumkin grown from her garden. Staying at Nisha's property was an easy, comfortable and delightful mini getaway for our family of three from Cairns. We'll definitely stay again! Thanks Nisha!

2 nights at Woopen Creek Vanilla - Camping

Lovely spot down by the river, well away from highway noise aside from some local traffic. Superbly maintained site with gorgeous grass you can run around barefoot with no worries. Beautiful, clear, not-too-deep river for a dip. The small ‘crop-dusting’ planes (non-chemical) from the neighbouring banana plantations wake you up just before sunrise (midweek camping) but wouldn’t be an issue for early risers. Ray is a friendly host who isn’t far away if needed.

Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other. Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek but still with your own small dirt track down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. Our campsites offer plenty of room to run and play, fresh water swimming, perfect for bird watching, and a cosy fireplace to relax around in the evening. You will be camping on a working Vanilla Bean farm so there is an opportunity to learn more about how vanilla grows. We have two sites, one to accommodate larger caravans and RV's, and the second camping area is best suited to camper trailers and tents. Drinking water on tap and a private shelter to place your portable toilet or to hang your camp shower. You will be within a short drive to popular tourist destinations including Josephine Falls, Babinda Boulders, Brampston Beach and Innisfail for shopping. Visit the famous Babinda Bakery for fresh bread, pies and cakes. If you're into bush walking, Mt Bartle Frere has walking tracks to Broken Nose or for the more experienced walker, to the Summit for breathtaking views.

We have 2 dogs, one is young and very friendly but may bark if you arrive after dark. We also have a few chickens roaming about and a pet pig.
