Weekend Trip to Serenity Caravan Park Hervey Bay

We had a lovely time at the Serenity Caravan Park! Late check in was easy as - a handy note left on the office door - and Rob was super friendly and there were lots of lovely little chats with him and other park visitors over the weekend. It was also only a short stroll down to Goody’s on the Beach and the Salty Squid Cafe for coffees and dinner, or to the beachfront across the road. Very well kept spot and beautiful little town 🙂

2 nights at Breathe At Rules Beach

Absolutely loved our stay on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful scenery, cattle grazing, and ocean straight behind. Loads of wildlife spotted including a huge goanna, kangaroos and an osprey. We were lucky enough to have the whole hilltop to ourselves for the 2 nights and used the available kayak to paddle across to the beach which was a lot of fun with our 2 dogs. We also had the entire strip of beach to ourselves. Great built in fire pits and sites well spread out. Free timber also provided. Camille was very informative and responsive. Highly recommend!

What an awesome and peacful spot. Surrounded by conservation park all round means there is no one to be seen. Feels like you have the whole region to yourself. Massive campsites and just a very short drive and you are cruising up th grogeous Rules Beach. Ill be back for sure. Ps The fire keeps the Mozzies away.

Weekend Trip to Buxton Bush Camp

Had quite afew people camped around the area but honestly it didn't feel crowded at all. Nice big area to camp at. The bar was awesome and so much better than expected. Price for a beer was cheaper than a schooner at the pub! Bushy brought the wood straight to my camp and was a awesome fella. Live music was great. Will definitely be coming back with mates to enjoy.

Weekend Trip to Riverside Burrum Heads

Lovely spot! Nice and spacious between sites for more privacy, close to the Burrum river where we fished. Grounds are well kept, nice clean facilities and lovely host! We camped with our dog and had no issues. They have fire pit provided and you can choose from many camp spots, some with large solid wood picnic tables! Will stay again for sure!

Very well maintened, heaps of flat space, and shade, and Daniel was a welcoming host with heaps of extras like ice, bait, coins etc making it easy to camp. Yeah, a few midgeys about but only a couple of hours and spray took care of it

Great little spot to chill out for a couple of days, heaps of room plenty of shade patches and sun to charge up batteries. Lots of birds and Roos that didn’t seem to mind our presence. Only a short drive to the beautiful rules beach. Will be back and would recommend to anyone who likes bush camping.

Had a great spot to setup camp with all the amenities close by. The outdoor shower which is gas heated worked extremely well and had a great view of the garden. We spent a lot of time in the spa which worked well and was always hot and ready to go.

Danny and his crew were amazing , the live music was incredible the food was amazing toilet and showers were clean and sanitary I highly recommend Danny’s place

4 nights at Travellers Rest 1770 Eco certified

We had four nights at this beautiful bush camp, the kids loved it here amongst the wildlife and exploring the boardwalk. Super friendly and kind hosts made us feel so welcome. Amenities were always clean and hot showers and the accessible amenities were such a bonus for our son who uses a wheelchair. He could access the boardwalk too which was a highlight. We loved having our marshmallows by the fire and always felt like we had plenty of space and privacy even though there were other campers around. A great location only 10 minutes into the beaches too. Highly recommend

4 nights at Breathe At Rules Beach

We had an amazing time camping here! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the super inquisitive cows checking us out every afternoon. This site is a great home base to explore everything Rules beach has to offer. Being 5 minutes from the beach entrance was awesome to head down and have a fish. The creek was full of wildlife - didn’t catch any fish but saw garfish, mud skippers, mud crabs and a huge goanna on the way in. This campsite is perfect for a few days away from the real world. Be sure to bring some spray for mozzies and sandflys and you will have the best time!!

1 night at Serenity Caravan Park Hervey Bay

This is a paradise, it was the perfect place to rest up for the night. The site was large and easy to maneuver with our van, being close to the bay and river gave us plenty to explore. The facilities were prestine, excellent maintained and well equipt! Safe we're friendly, helpful and very accommodating of our needs. We would stay again in a heart beat and would recommend everyone stay here!

5 nights at Mon Repos Pines

Location was perfect for us. A simple ride down the bike path right out the front of the property and you are in Bargara for brekky Head off the other way and you’re in Bundy. There are only 4 spots and each site is about 20 or 30 metres from the next site. So it is very quiet at night. Just the sound of the waves. Karen was lovely. Her communication was very prompt. Just an easy person to deal with.

1 night at Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay

All amenities were very clean and great lighting along walkways. Very good experience. Lots of space and good facilities too to keep kids etc. entertained.
