The working macadamia farm boasts five campsites each positioned in different nooks with only one group booked in per campsite. Pets and campfires welcome. Hot water shower and compost toilet cleaned several times a day. The Flats Site - The Flats is an extra large site closest to the Oxley River enjoying direct water access with two levels. The first is sheltered by an overhanging sour cherry tree and overlooks the bottom plateau and swimming spot. This site is a short three minute walk to the shower shed. Riverview Site - Riverview is perched on the raised riverbank looking down upon the swimming spot and rapids. A sprawling old tree shelters this extra spacious campsite ideal for large groups. We recommend Riverview for guests with younger children as it does not have direct river access and is the closest to the shower shed. Orchard View - Situated next to the Riverview campsite, this location is close to the river with stunning views across the macadamia orchard. The Grove - The Grove is one of our cosiest sites framed by a towering tree complete with stag horns, with branches that sprawl out over the campsite offering an abundance of shade. Close to the shower shed & a short walk to the river. The Pine Hideaway - This is our most private and stunning site. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted.
