She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. Glendaryn, our property, is located 30 kms west of Kyogle and 2 hours from the Gold Coast. Featuring 35 acres consisting mainly of creek flats on the banks of Iron Pot Creek, a permanent creek which runs from nearby Toonumbar dam, this place is perfect to pitch a tent. The dam is only 2 km away and has a boat ramp. Iron Pot provides scenic camping spots with fishing (bass and cat fish), swimming, hiking, kayaking and there are bush roads nearby suitable for horse riding. Craig was very kind and helpful with getting me into the musings of Brisbane by Ferry. Water is there. Power for those who need it. It is a safe place and the highway can be heard at night, but not felt. So, when I need a place within Brisbane again, I believe this is an affordable Option for some days.
