Behind us is a popular waterfall (hartleys Falls). it is a moderate 50 minute walk to ancient and amazing rock pools and swimming holes. The water is cool and pristine.

Juliet and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!)
Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn.
We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited. No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok!
Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

The grounds are beautiful with amazing views.
The site had a shower, toilet and area to cook aswell as a place to light a fire. The hosts were so friendly and we wished we had longer to stay and enjoy the area more.

Theresa, Frank, and Buzz were all lovely hosts while we were camping on their beautiful property. We woke up each morning to fresh fruit and phenomenal suggestions on what to do in the area. They were extremely welcoming and we would definitely stay again! They have all the facilities you would need as well.

We had a great time at Deans property. The area & amenities were really clean and the campsites are right in the nature. Both Dean and his brother Chris were super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We can also recommend visiting Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure, as ist is right next door. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would happily visit again!

Magical little retreat. A warm welcoming by the host encouraging us to explore this gorgeous property. We will be back with our children for another swim in the creek! The facilities are brilliant too, the bathroom looks like it belongs in a show home, so fresh, new and clean. We are very thankful for our stay and would encourage others to visit.

Dean greeted us apon arrival providing guidance and site information as well as hints & tips for the immediate area. The amenities are modern, clean and easily accessible from all sites. We had a wonderful stay here. Dean is an incredibly kind and welcoming host—he greeted us at the gate, showed us around the campground, and shared lots of helpful local advice. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. The campground has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and being able to take a refreshing dip in the creek was a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-run camping experience.

What a lovely spot! We were unfortunately there with the March flies ( November in the tropics!) but we lit a fire and they mostly left us alone to watch the birds. Theresa & Frank offered us the use of the swimming pool but it was cool enough at this altitude that we enjoyed a walk with our pooch and a glass of red by the fire.

Our stay at Twitchers Hill was brilliant. Frank and Theresa were so kind and accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. The site is beautiful with a view of the mountains. The amenities were good and have a hot shower. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again.
