While sightseeing, make sure you visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, displaying Southeast Asian and Pacific art. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are some good fishing and mountain biking spots. We are located on a 5-acre block on the edge of town. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have currently 3 sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book both sites. Please note Pool site is open all year round and has permanent cover. Other sites are dependant on weather and access.

The weather is warm and the site behind our pool is a nice space to be! You will may need your airconditioner at night and this site is powered. It is lovely to be in a space where you are the only camper! You have some privacy from the gardens. The property is safe and secluded in the rural suburb of Virginia. We are situated in the Darwin Rural area on 5 acres of bush land with tropical gardens and a saltwater swimming pool. There is a variety of bird life, lizards, frogs, and possums. You can feed our friendly butcher birds and King Fishers on the fly from our verandah or pool area. Sit with the fish pond and chat with the turtle who is very shy! We have dogs that live at the property so pets on application only. (we do have a dog cage available if required and can pet sit for a day if required ) If you are travelling with a horse, we have a stable, water trough and can activate an electric fence for a horse yard. (price on application) We have caravan sites for fully self-contained caravans and we now have a shower and toilet available. If you are travelling in a group, we can accommodate you in a large open area if your group would like to stay together. Each caravan site has its own fireplace for your use. Only 5 minutes from Palmerston, 25minutes from Darwin CBD. If you are looking for a local fishing tour we can hook you up with the locals as our neighbour runs Outback Fishing Tours. We have many fishing and crabbing locations close by on the Elizabeth River, Middle Arm or around Darwin Harbour. Need a driver for a night out in town, we can arrange that too! Local Fred's Pass Food and Craft Markets are open Saturday and Wednesday night.

Darwin is the gateway to the amazing Kakadu National Park. There are many popular waterfront areas with several beaches and green areas like Bicentennial Park. While sightseeing, make sure you visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, displaying Southeast Asian and Pacific art. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are some good fishing and mountain biking spots. We are located on a 5-acre block on the edge of town. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have currently 3 sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book both sites. Please note Pool site is open all year round and has permanent cover. Other sites are dependant on weather and access.

We offer 10 shady grassed powered sites, and 6 unpowered sites, for caravans or camping. All sites overlook lush bushland and have access to town water. Howards Springs Nature Park is only 3km away. Local shop with GP and newsagent plus a tavern for a meals and entertainment to enjoy. 5 minutes from Coolalinga and 5 minutes from Palmerston. Leaders Creek boat ramp only 30 minutes. Mountain bike tracks just down the road in Pine Forests. This is rural camping without the trek and the crowds. Gated entry to the park, with all-weather driveway. Markets at Fred's Pass throughout the year. 20 minute drive to Darwin City. We have an abolition block with toilet shower and laundry Facilities. A great park and is in the best location to explore Darwin’s many attractions and is a gateway to the Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. With extra large shady, grassed sites for caravans and camping. Extra room for boats and bikes, Pet friendly, our park is surrounded by beautiful tropical forest.
