Darwin is the gateway to the amazing Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. There are many popular waterfront areas with several beaches including Lee Point and Casuarina. While sightseeing, make sure you visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, The War Museum and Aviation Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are some good fishing and biking trails. We are located on a 5-acre block in the Northern Suburbs. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. We have a variety of native birds on the property and are close by to local bird watch areas. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have 5 powered sites and 8 non powered sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. The property has a secured gate that requires fob access and a security entrance camera. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book two sites. Please note The Bounganvillea site is open all year round and has a concrete base. Other sites are dependant on weather and access.

At present we will only be offering 15 self contained sites, so plenty of space not to be on top of each other. We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the Van sites. We have also started a little coffee shop at our main camp so you can find us there most days. We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. Due to not having an area waste removal program in Bynoe it is appreciated that you take all waste with you.

Weekend Trip to Athelle Outback Hideaway

When we arrived at Athelle, we were impressed by the lovely, lush green camping sites. Anthony greeted us warmly and explained where to set up, as well as the location of the amenities and dump point. The site was easy to back into, and setting up was a breeze with soft green grass underfoot. Power and water were conveniently located right beside the van. The amenities were clean and tidy, with laundry facilities available if needed. The night was cool, peaceful, and quiet. Thank you

Weekend Trip to Litchfield Bush Sites

This is amazing lost cost campsite. The outdoor shower and toilets are modern and clean. The dump point is very clever! The best we've seen. The Cafe has the best coffees we've had in the NT. The art gallery is gorgeous. The kids played with the volleyball equipment and mud kitchen. The owners are helpful and friendly and they are in the process of building a swimming pool. We can't wait to go back!.

Such a great spot, incredible effort put in by Peter to rejuvenate the plot with native flora and resulting fauna (especially the birds!) Big sites and hotel quality bathroom. Definitely recommend if looking for a more natural campground close to Darwin.

Perfect Darwin spot for campers. My site was in the back corner of the lovely bush-like property. I felt like I could have been camping remotely, but was right on the edge of town. Bathroom facilities were still convenienty close and immaculately maintained. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Geat place to stay that I would highly recommend

1 night at Middle Camp & Stay- BERRY SPRINGS

A great little place to stay. Green grassy sites that are secluded from each other, Really good amenities, quite, 5 minute drive to the springs for a swim. We have a 20 foot van and got in easily. We stayed on site 1 but any of the sites would accommodate a van easily. A little fire pit at each site and an outdoor shower which is lovely in the heat of the day to cool off.
