Enjoy our tropical, secluded oasis and wake up to the sounds of native bird life each morning. As seen on The Feel Good Family season 4 ep. 102 and season 8 ep. 242. Conveniently located, we're a 30 minute drive from Darwin CBD , 15 minutes from two major shopping centres, 1 hour from Litchfield National Park , 1.5 hours from Kakadu National Park, 20 minutes from the public dump point, and only 5 minutes from the local IGA, chemist and post office, and the family friendly Howard Springs Nature Reserve and excellent pine forest mountain bike trails. We have only two sites, to give you great privacy and space. The sites are level and grassed, with dedicated water and power access. You are welcome to share our refreshing plunge pool. Wander the yard to enjoy the gardens or spot small lizards and frogs, pick fresh herbs, tropical flowers. We have fantastic recycling and compost facilities, in a small effort to reduce our collective impact on the environment. Kids will love having plenty of space to run, ride and explore. There are small lizards and frogs to be hunted, a kids cubby and kitchen, sandpit, swings and a climbing frame (all to be used at your own risk). You will need to be fully self-contained with your own camping toilet/shower. No pets please.

Site 1 offers a spacious, flat area with easy access for all size vehicles. The site is surrounded by native garden and is bordered on one side by the driveway leading to Site 2 and our shed. The site has its own fire pit and dedicated water and electricity connections which are easily accessible. Tall gum trees provide morning and late afternoon shade.

Site 2 is a flat area surrounded by native and tropical gardens. A cosy space with easy access to the pool, Site 2 includes a portable fire pit on request and dedicated water and electricity connections. The site is accessible for caravans up to 22ft and is near but out of direct view of our house. Tall gum trees offer morning shade and dappled shade throughout the day.

Fantastic spot. Close enough to Palmerston and Darwin, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet. Our kids loved playing in the pool with the hosts kids!!!

Quiet, safe camping. Good access for Darwin and surrounds. Friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend. Also the honey was very good. Thanks for a great stay guys.

Great large grassed spot to park up for few days! We based ourselves here for our Darwin adventure for 5 days and was great. Power, water, bins, and gated. Kids loved having access to the pool and cubby and playing with the hosts kids. Hosts very friendly and happy to help us with all our questions about attractions & things to do.

Camping spot was easy to find and Kristy was extremely helpful with providing information. A great little spot - felt very secluded from other campers.

5/5. Great site and great hosts. Flat, grassy partially shaded sites. Private and secure. 15amp power and good water. (No dump point). Lovely, easy going family who respect your privacy and nothing was too much trouble. I fit a 22ft van onto site 2. Will be a repeat customer.

From the moment we pulled into the drive we felt relaxed. The property is amazing! Great location. Hosts Kristy and Clint really make you feel welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights there and will definitely book again when in the area. Site 1 was large, grassy and the outlook over the mature garden was very peaceful. Thanks Kristy and Clint.

The perfect base for our week in Darwin. A nice break from caravan parks with so much space for privacy and for the kids to explore. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and our kids loved playing with their kids. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Darwin. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

A beautiful location to stay & see Darwin & its sourinding areas (Litchfield NP / Berry Springs). Large private site in a tropical setting. Owners are friendly & welcoming. There when we needed advice & willing to help but also allowed our privacy to go about daily activities. Would happily recomend & stay again. Thanks K & C.

We loved our stay. It felt like a home away from home for us in Darwin. Beautiful setting and so relaxed and private- with such lovely, friendly hosts! Our two boys loved having access to the playground and space to roam. We even ended up booking it again on our return trip to Darwin a couple of weeks later and our second stay was just as great!

Lovely shady spot in a garden. Hosts are able to provide water and power plus have an organised rubbish and recycling system. Howard springs is a good central location for Darwin. Good access to MTB tracks.

Great camp at Kristy and Clints property. Heaps of room in beatiful lush gardens and easy access to Darwin. Highly recommended for couples and small families. Very quite and peaceful.

From the minute we drove through the gates, and seen the tropical gardens and lush green grass we in love with this place!! Kristy, Clint and the kids are amazing hosts.. they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome! Kids had a blast with endless gardens to explore, the cubby house and making amazing new friends! In the words of my 4 year old son this place is Epic 😀 You won’t be disappointed with your stay at Howard Springs!! If it’s privacy your after you have it! Or If it’s meeting other people and enjoying a drink and a chat around a fire you have it!! Thanks Kristy and Clint, can’t wait to get back

Howard Spring Retreat has been a well organised stay for us. Food scraps are recycled to the chooks, all other rubbish and cans placed in their individual bins. It is a tranquil and private setting. We would definitely return. Thank you to this family for hosting us for 6 nights.

A little oasis just outside of Darwin City. Nice shady sites and small pool to cool off in when feeling hot. Great local shops nearby. Hosts are lovely. Would definitely recommend

This camp would have to be one of the best camps so far in the NT. Quiet, tropical, central to shopping centres and 30 minutes from Darwin. Feels like you are in the middle of a quiet rainforest even though there are only 2 sites you cant see each other. Great hosts highly recommend.

What a slice of paradise! Clint and Kristy were incredible hosts - warm, welcoming and friendly. We truly felt at home couldn’t have asked for more. Each site was well cared for, provided plenty of space and a beautiful backdrop for our stay. The pool was clean and refreshing. Only a short drive into town, but far enough to escape the hustle, bustle and noise. We’d come back and stay again without hesitation, only hoping that we could have stayed longer.

Site 2 - Howard Springs Haven
We love staying at Howard Springs Haven and Kristy is a fantastic host. The tropical gardens are beautiful and with only 2 sites on the property it is very quite at night. Great for families with smaller children as there is lots of room to run and great play equipment. Power and water is a bonus! This was our first time staying on Site 2 (we have previously stayed on the larger Site 1). Starlink was intermittent due to the beautiful tall palm trees that surround the site. Will definitely be back!
