We loved this farm stay. We booked site 1 which had power and it's a great spot right near where you walk down to the river. It was so tranquil. Well manicured. Cute swing set and had fun using the communal bikes. The pit toilets are very clean. We utilised the wood fire pizza oven the first night which was such a hit! The kids loved the farm tour, we got to see bunnies, goats, chickens and cows. Would definitely come back again in the warmer months the river would be awesome to swim in. You feel like you're in the middle of no-where (which you kinda are) but we went into port for the day and it's only half an hour drive. Highly recommend. Thanks so much guys!

What an incredible place to bring the family! We stayed for three nights and were so glad we did. The kids loved visiting the animals and riding their bikes. The swings were also a big hit. The pit toilets were perfect for us since we don't have amenities in our van. It was easy to tow our van to the campsite. Thank you, Rick and Cheryl!

Weekend Trip to Bundilla River Camp

This is our second visit to Bundilla River camp and once again it did not disappoint. This time we visited with friends and enjoyed our time swimming in the river, walking the short trail and saying hello to the cows as they passed our camp each morning. Kids loved the swing and visit to feed the animals. The addition of the pit toilets was a welcome surprise that added to our comfort. We enjoyed our time here so much we have all decided to make it at least an annual event.

Weekend Trip to Bundilla River Camp

Bundilla River Camp was the best!! Highly recommend to anyone. We loved it and were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves as we went just after the floods. It was a little wet and muddy but that was perfect for our kids. We had fires each night, watched the stars, woke up to the beautiful cows in the morning, river swims, swings, bike ride's and gorgeous walks. It was so quiet and peaceful. Toilets were clean and it was so handy having a river water tap to use. Rick and Cheryl were great to talk too. We only booked an hour or so before we arrived and it all went smoothly and was easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Levenvale farm is absolutely stunning! I arrived last minute and felt welcomed by the beautiful land. I wish I was able to stay another night and try something from the shop. The shower was amazing and really hot.

One of the nicest hipcamps we have stayed at!! We had the most peaceful night at Sammy’s property. Crystal clear waters and quiet bushland that was exactly the refresh we needed. It was a pleasure to meet Sammy and his family including their beautiful dog Banjo. It is clear that they take great pride in their slice of paradise and we were grateful to experience it for a night. Sammy was the perfect host and made sure to explain exactly how to access the property. Thank you again for being kind and understanding about our little pup Hank not being dog-social on our trip. We felt completely welcome and can’t wait to return!

I love site 2 it was shaded by trees, quiet and well grassed. Great camp fire area for those toasted marshmallows 😋. Sophie's direction were easy to follow and easy to get to from freeway. Close to Sawtell & Coffs Harbour. Sophie was a great host, & very accommodating. Dog friendly with nice leashed walking areas. I will be back 🎇.

Weekend Trip to The Hatch Farm - Port Macquarie

Beautiful setting immaculate rustic amenities we loved the view and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly dogs and talking to the pigs. Also Susan was warm and welcoming and her farm hand was also a lovely guy! One of the prettiest camps we’ve stayed at with a friendly relaxed vibe.

3 nights at Bonville Camp Ground

Great spot close to Coffs. About 15 minutes into town. Nice green campsite with fire pits and clean toilets. Pretty cool backdrop of forestry behind campsite. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Firewood $10 per bag, just bring cash. Just beware there is a little causeway coming into the site that can go under if they have a decent downpour. The base is solid and well marked though so we didn't have an issue getting in and out, even though it rained the entire time we were there.

Pipe Dream Bush Camp - Dog Friendly

If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim. The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise. There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush. Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in. It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's. The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. We are a rural property so do not have rubbish collection services. (Fees apply for any left behind rubbish). Happy camping!

Only 15 mins drive from the town of Macksville, 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour, 45 minutes from Port Macquarie and 20 minutes or so (but who counts) from the famous Pub With no Beer (which does have beer). This property is extremely private with a number of camp sites that have you feeling like the rest of the world no longer exists. There are six dams and views to the coast (from the top of the hill). You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.

Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Only sand mats or similar, NO TARPS, to be set up on the grassed areas to preserve the grass. Free firewood and fire pit set up for the first night, IF YOU STAY TWO NIGHTS OR MORE. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

Due to the recent Mid North Coast flood event our driveway is 4 wheel drive access only and the Woodland Lakeside site is closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience. 100 acre farm of mixed native bush and orchard plantings, with a mixture of secluded camp areas for campers with their own amenities and sites with facilities. The Woodland Lakeside campsite has a single compost toilet, and the Woodland Ridgetop sites share a camp kitchen with compost toilets and hot showers. We have two beautiful dams that are great for kayaking and swimming, and creek frontage where you can fish. Beautiful views of Yarrahapinni Mountain to the east and hills out to the west. There are 40 acres of bushland to go walkabout. Geese and ducks free range the property and feeding time visits can be arranged. We are just 1.5km of single track gravel road to the Pacific Highway with good access for all types of vehicles. There is a choice of private campsites either by the dam or the creek with no other campers in sight! We also have a multi site area at the Woodland Ridgetop with a camp kitchen, compost toilets and showers. This will be available to be booked as a large group area or as 3 individual sites. Later in 2024 we will also have beautiful glamping bell tent sites available. Drinking water (tank water) is available from an outdoor tap at the farmhouse, as long as we have had sufficient rainfall. Please check in advance if you require water. Campers MUST have their own self contained amenities for the Creek Camp, and the 2 Parking Sites, and leave no trace. There is a toilet dump point for chemical toilets in Macksville, 10 mins away. All he sites are dog friendly as long as all dog poo is cleared up. 20 mins to Scotts Head and Grassy Head beaches and Yarrahapinni National Park. State Forest on the doorstep great for mountain bikes, and with motorbike trails heading out to the west. The farm is 5 minutes from the Eungai Buffallo Farm cafe. There is also farm produce available for sale - fresh eggs for breakfast!

We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and open air outdoor camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both the Hut and the Tent are furnished with beds and linen but have no power. Both share access to a Drop Loo and a compost toilet, with gas hot water shower (in our very rustic Horse Float ensuite). At all our sites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Reach out if you want us to have them defrosted for your arrival. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.
