We loved camping at the Bushman’s Clock at Kookaburra. The creek is gorgeous, and farm animals are friendly (not much of a wildlife though - see it as a pro or con hehe). The toilet was clean. It was easy to find. Everything went very well. Loved the fire pit and the fact that you can buy firewood on the farm!

We had two days at Orange Grove and didn't want to leave. The location is a perfect place to switch off and remove yourself from the world. We arrived as a group of two couples travelling with dogs in a large motorhome and caravan combo. Tryg and my mate said I am compensating for the size of the motorhome, but hey why not travel in comfort. Site access was ok for us after a little gardening on Tryg's approval so large vehicles can access without restriction. Everything is there; space abounds, impressive fire pit, water views, fish, toilet facility and well sheltered and ir is all yours. Local knowledge abounds, both from locals when walking the streets of Nelligen and from your host Tryg. Even more so when you loosen his tongue with a cold beverage. It is awesome to get a locals perspective and the vibe of what really makes a community and honest mateship of the Aussie spirit. Do yourself a favour and visit this part of the world as it is impressive. David

2 nights at Jeremadra Getaway

Fantastic spot! It was really nice to find a spot away from overcrowded camp grounds. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a place where it’s just you/your group and nature! The grounds were clean and well maintained and having the dam close by was awesome for the kids and dogs. Being dog friendly and off leash meant our pooches could have a nice holiday too! The onsite toilet, fire pit and table/benches made things easy. Hosts Sarah and Tom were great to deal with, communication was easy and we all had a blast. Would recommend to anyone camping withe family/friends especially those who want to bring their dogs. We will be back!
