From here you can explore the amazing Blue Mountain views, marvel at a magical glow worm dell, check out the 2 apple cider breweries and taste some of the region's delicious produce. Colo River is 30 mins away, a clear waterhole is 10 min drive (4wd only- hosts can transport if available), the mouth of a hiking trail to the National Park is on the property, the main township of Bilpin is close by with the baker, fruit and veggie picking, Mountain Bells Cafe (host recommendation), apple pies galore and the restaurant , the markets are on Saturday morning 10-12 noon at the local hall and there is a free meditation group 9am Sunday at the monastery. 2 nights at Mountain Lagoon Hideaway

What a truly beautiful spot to stay at! Very peaceful, private and spacious. Everything was set up so perfectly and we loved all the little touches. It was a pleasure to wake up to birds signing in the cosy tent. Dannii was an amazing host; very responsive, friendly, helpful with lots of local tips and recommendations. Peaceful, beautiful, very reasonably equipped and prompt response times. Entry driveway a little scary for my small 2WD hatchback, but I got used to it.

Great space! Lots of room. Kitchen facilities, toilet and shower amenities made the camping experience so easy. Even took the opportunity to have an outdoor tub time! Easy to find with great communication from Natasha and only an hour from home. This was the perfect space for a first time camping with our dog.

I loved the pink retro caravan and the facilities that were provided. Host- David was very helpful and informed us all the required details. The vibe and the surrounding was very amazing. Highly recommend for girls night out in such a cozy vibe.

We loved being within close proximity to the town of Katoomba in a quiet location surrounded by trees. The facilities were clean and sufficient although the ‘kitchen’ really needed some attention, not a problem if self contained.

Weekend Trip to The Gulf

Great spot! This is my second time out here, this time down by the river. The track down to the river is challenging, quite steep, but if you have a capable 4x4 you will be fine. The river and the views were amazing. We had a bit of bad weather which made the track a bit more iffy but in the dry it is straight forward. If you have a standard AWD or basic 4x4 the camping areas up the top of the property are great as well. Stuart is great very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location- secluded, surrounded by nature. The kitchen / toilet facilities are cute and eco friendly. Natasha was kind and helpful. I am definitely going to make this a regular site to visit and bring my Labrador with me. Highly recommend!!
