What a great time with the Piccolo Farms animals! Bonnie's place was easy to get to and set up (despite me misinterpreting the instructions) Bonnie was a good communicator throught the process. Will stay again of in the area!

We enjoyed our camp on Bonnie’s land
Loved waking up seeing the animals all around.
The host were very attentive and made sure our stay was smooth.
If we’re ever camping in Tennessee again I’d definitely come back!

This campsite was beautiful but it had a few challenges. Here’s a pros/cons list.
Pros: beautiful property, great hosts, lots of animals/pets to love on, neat bar with a tv for watching sports.
Cons: hard to get the camper level; no sewer hookup at campsite; while most of the animals are behind a fence, there are cats and dogs roaming the property & they love to hang out so if you have any allergies or pets that are reactive to other pets, take heed; this is also a party rental property so there was a 3 year olds birthday party just outside our door in the morning on Saturday.. which meant it was a little awkward to just sit outside sipping coffee in the morning. Also the silo is right outside your doorstep & your water hook up is shared with the animals.
I think this would be a great place for families with kids if you love animals. They are doing amazing work with the sanctuary & there’s always something to watch.

We enjoyed our stay among the friendly animals and humans here! We were in Nashville for a family wedding and we found this location very convenient to downtown.

Such a peaceful, enjoyable place to spend a night. We had the site to ourselves. The animals are blessed to have the place to recover from neglect or abuse. It was so fun to watch and interact with the goats, donkey, cow, horse, emus, sheep and of course the pigs. The night sky was beautiful with our campfire. The owners were attentive and accommodating.

This place was great! The owners were flexible with our request to set our tent up in a slightly different location than the designated RV spot, and they made sure we had everything we needed. It was great to see the animals and what a great new life they have. Definitely a unique experience!

Bonnie and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Their farm is amazing and our two dogs loved taking it all in. At night, the open skies over the pastures had beautiful views of the stars and there were also lots of fireflies which made the whole experience kind of magical. It was really nice to be able to use their farm as our homebase because it was only 20 minutes from Downtown.
We were able to experience the best of the city and then decompress at the farm.
The roads immediately near the farm are lightly traveled and there is a lot of shade so even on hot and sunny days we were able to get our dogs out for a relaxing walk.
We were camping in travel trailer and the site worked great for us. They have electric and water hookups right next to the camp site. Two things to know before you come is that the site does have a little bit of a downward slope to it so make sure you have some leveling blocks with you. Jeff offered me some pavers to use, but the blocks I had with were sufficient for our setup. The other thing is that it is a working farm so their water pressure is pretty high so make sure you have a regulator with you (or you can just fill your freshwater tank and use your pump).

Great site, that is very close to downtown Nashville. The hosts were very responsive. I will say that, it is somewhat steep, going up the driveway and also when I was backing my camper into the spot. However, I am sort of a novice, so it could’ve been my lack of experience. I would definitely stay there again, and, as I said, the hosts were awesome.

If you want something fancy where you are catered to- this isnt for you. If you want to have electric and water right at the site for your set up with a bathroom super close and all the animals you can handle- this is it! Dusk and first dark is something else in the summer. The trees lit up with fireflies and the sky did its thing. I tried to remember the names of all the animals I met but, there were too many! I enjoyed watching the farm help feed the animals at night. I got to meet both Bonnie and Jeff and they were absolute gems. They had just saved a street dog that was hit by a car and was going in for surgery the next day. Truly great humans. One of my nights I took an Uber to downtown Nashville. It was about a 15-20 minute drive and only cost $15 on the way there and $20 on the way back (it was a Sunday). I had issues with my truck and Jeff checked up on me. Glad the issue happened to me there and not somewhere else. Great vibes all around. I hope to be back someday!!!

Absolutely loved it! Had a great time! Perfect location. Close to everything but just far enough away from the city. We loved seeing all the animals. We will deffinitly be back soon!

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful farm. With Downtown Nashville 15 minutes away, this was a very convenient location. We were the only guests on the farm and had plenty of privacy. Next time we travel to Nashville, this is where we plan to stay.

We absolutely LOVED Bonnie & Jeff’s animal sanctuary! The cute pups & scratching goats were so funny to watch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to see a great view & experience sweet farm animals.
Bonnie & Jeff were very accommodating and Jeff even provided us with some wood & gasoline when we wanted a fire:) - thank you, that was very kind! Looking forward to another stay next time! ☀️🐶🐐🌈🐾

PS. For the medium / large RVs, the parking area has a steep angle for labeling so bring plenty of wood to label your RV out! It wasn’t a problem at all, just letting RVers know:)

We spent a fantastic week at Paradise Valley. Bonnie and Jeff were great hosts. We loved hanging with all the animals. This is a beautiful, peaceful property 15 minutes from Nashville. We highly recommend it.

My family of 4 had a great night staying on the farm!! The animals were all so cute and sweet. Jeff took the time to tell us about the farm and answer any questions we had, we really enjoyed learned about the farm/sanctuary. Toilet was extremely clean and the camping space was very nice. Perfect stay for one night passing through Nashville but would’ve definitely stayed longer!!

Our stay was perfect. Camping next to the goats, pigs etc was a joy for us since we are city folk. We especially loved seeing the dogs protect the goats. The dogs drove the goats in the barn at dusk without any prompting. Thanks to our hosts who made our stay memorable.

This campground was an amazing surprise! It was beautiful and peaceful. The Host was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it to families with children. It was incredible watching the sheep dogs do their work.

Great spot outside Nashville. The farm was a great experience for the kidos. The owners we very nice. The spot is on a little hill so blocks for a trailer or ability to level front of a motorhome is helpful.. will definitely stay again.

One. Of. A. Kind. Our family (two boys 11 and 8, and pup Stella) absolutely LOVED this piece of heaven in the hills of Nashville that they call Paradise Valley. We spent 5 days and 4 nights tucked away at this gem of a location! 21 minutes to downtown Broadway, where we spent a day (parked at The Gultch)... then the rest of our days and nights were on this amazing piece of land, with some amazing, loving animals! Our son even asked if the animals will remember us because we love then! Our boys were in heaven, we were in heaven... bucket list was checked! Bonnie and Jeff were "Johnny on the spot" with answering our messages and texts. They trusted us with their farm family... we cried leaving! Jeff helped the hubby back our 30 ft travel trailer in, after that it was FARM ON! We almost didn't want to leave a review because we don't want others to find our spot! Piccolo Farms is a breath taking escape. Thank you!

Both the farm and surrounding views were such a pleasure to experience even though it was drizzle and rain for our 1 day stay. Very friendly hosts, great communication, variety of animals to enjoy, and a very thoughtful set up ! We also had ample room to maneuver in our 30' motor home.

Very relaxing and peaceful. We drive a 42 foot dynasty. It was very tight getting in turning around and entering the parking site. If our coach was smaller, we would definitely be there again. We enjoyed all of the goat, pig sheep, donkey, emu, and dog watching.

We loved this spot. Each morning we would wake up and watch “Animal TV” out the windows of the van. The location is perfect, with easy access to downtown. We really appreciated the larger mission of this farm and feel so fortunate we got to spend a few days here.

This place is more of a destination than a quick stop over. What a gem of a place to land. Kind hearted people tending animals and fun barnyard sounds surround. Wouldn't miss this place.

It was a nice site especially if you enjoy animals. Goats, sheep, donkey, dog, pigs, and emus.
We stay here because it was 13 minutes from daughter’s house. It was very convenient. Host is very accommodating and pleasant. Fyi there is only a gray tank dump.
