There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave & cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. There are two hammocks and outdoor lounges to spend some time enjoying the view and time together. For those looking for a bit of adventure there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Local attractions include: Whiann Whiann Falls- swimming hole- (5 minutes) Nightcap National Park, including spectacular Minyon Falls (30 minutes) Rocky Creek Dam, which has walks and a platypus trail (10 minutes) Eltham Hotel (15 minutes) The Channon Tavern and monthly markets (10 minutes) Bangalow Markets (20 minutes) Important information: Linen not provided. Doona, sheets, pillow tea towels needed. PLEASE NOTE: This is a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. Both domes have aircon. The air-con cannot be left on. They were installed so if you have been out exploring all day and return to find a very hot or cold dome it gives you the ability to modify the temperature quickly. Once the dome has been cooled down or heated up (in our experience this takes approximately 10-15 mins) you can switch it off and use the fans provided if the evening is warm. If you leave the aircon continually running or forget to turn it off and go out you will lose power and the power will not return until the solar has had a chance to recharge the next day. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes and a fan for outdoor use for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the domes have rooftop curtains that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the tents cooler. Guests have access to the entire 120 acre property. There is a gate for access to the paddocks beyond the dome fencing. The gate needs to be closed immediately after entering and exiting to prevent cows entering the dome area and causing damage or exiting onto the main road. You can stroll along the road until you reach the bushland on the far end of the property. We do not recommend walking through long grass on the property without protective footwear as snakes are known to live in the hinterlands region. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. Parking at the top of the property is recommended for cars that are not suitable for gravel inclines.

Savarnh's Island is a 100 acre privately owned Island on the north coast of NSW Australia. Five kilometres of riverbank to camp on. Starlink WI-FI connection and good mobile reception on the island, toilets, showers and mains power for some sites. On maps the island is named Esk Island. A short boat ride to shopping centres, restaurants, pubs, beaches at Yamba and Iluka. World heritage rainforests. Long uncrowded surf beaches. Great fishing, boat ramp and jetty on island. Bring your own boat or canoe or use our paddle boat and canoes. The island is located on the north arm of the Clarence River beside Iluka and at the mouth of the Esk River. There is parking for your car at Visitor Point. Visitor Point is at https://maps.app.goo.gl/vyhvHUxfpTkdaufC7 Once on the island you will be given a tour and shown to our accommodation. A row boat and double canoe is provided so you can go to your car as you please, a rowing distance of about 600m. We can not allow guests to operate our powerboat themselves. There is a jetty and a boat ramp on the island if you wish to bring your own boat. If you bring your own boat please only use it to come and go from the island's boat ramp on the far western side of the island. Weekend Trip to Creek Side Shepherds Hut Rail Trail

We had the best time staying here despite changes in our plans due to the weather, the local stores and restaurants are great and despite only briefly being able to explore the railway trail in break of rain we had a blast. The cabin itself is set up amazingly and they have done an amazing job of planting different vegetation and making the property feel like a magical spot. 5/5 ⭐ My only feedback is the tubs for kitchen storage would be a little easier to use if they their contents were labelled on the tub but that's my only piece of constructive feedback for the place.

We only stayed at the glamping site for one night, but wow — what a magical time we had! The vast land, with wallabies and cows and birds singing. The amazing amenities: the outdoor tub, the kitchen, the comforts of the tent. The highlight was having a hot bath under the starry sky and topping it off with marshmallows by the fire. The best sleep too. Matt and Rachel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Core memories unlocked! Thank you 🤍

Beth is the most welcoming host, she gave super clear instructions to make sure we could get to the property ok. The property wow! It’s very private, overlooking the river and is just gorgeous. The bath was such a brilliant touch! BBQ, shower, toilet, hot bath, fans, blankets, a fridge, kettle - whatever you need for your stay it is there! I really cannot recommend enough, beautiful views!

Fantastic stay! Elizabeth’s place is amazing. The outdoor bath was the highlight and everything else surpassed our expectations. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and all the unique touches to the bedroom made it really homely. Elizabeth went above and beyond with some extras and was very welcoming when we met her (on horseback!) to guide us in. Thank you - we’ll be back!

Lovely spot. The cabin was clean, new and had everything we needed. The hosts even had milk, eggs and berries in the fridge for us. WiFi was available. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. We were only staying as a stopover on a long trip but I would definitely recommend it for a longer stay.

Perfect location ! Just what my wife and dog wanted. Very well equipped luxury off road caravan. Fabulous surroundings and relaxing. Fire pit provided and fire wood 👍. The pub down the road is superb with live music. Steve is great and very accommodating. Dogs welcome. Cannot fault and will be back 😀

The glamping pod was so lovely, well-equipped, clean and cosy. It is quite a distance from the main house on the property and therefore very private. Great shower and the composting toilet was clean and odour-free. Gorgeous views over the river. Everything was as described and suited our needs perfectly.

The Bower Farm was absolutely stunning, Rach and Matt were great hosts and very accommodating. We loved our stay so much it was hard to leave. The tent was clean and cozy and had plenty of games/books to keep you entertained. Picking our own sunflowers in the field was a highlight, alongside relaxing by the fire on the hammock and soaking under the stars in the hot tub. Highly recommend staying here if you want uninterrupted time in nature. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at Barrachi Camp with a mate and honestly had the best time. It was the perfect little escape from Byron — so peaceful, private, and beautifully tucked away on the farm. Peter and Tania have created something really special there, a cosy cabin that feels completely nestled in nature while still being super comfortable. We loved the quiet, the privacy, and just slowing down for a couple of days. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll bring more friends to share this gem. Highly recommend if you’re after a proper reset.

Where to go

Hunter Valley

Just north of Sydney and Newcastle, the Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions. Sip semillon and shiraz at cellar door tastings, visit family-run boutique wineries, then pitch your tent or park your RV amid the vineyards or along the Hunter River. Just to the north, the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests of Barrington Tops National Park afford endless options for bushwalking, fishing, and camping.

South North Coast

Beautiful beaches and wild bushlands await along the southern stretch of the North Coast between Newcastle and Port Macquarie. Go sandboarding at the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes, take a dolphin-watching cruise from Port Stephens, or enjoy kayaking, fishing, and camping at Myall Lakes National Park.
