You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day. The property has Telstra coverage for added security.

Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Your furry family member is welcome to join you. We hope you enjoy our little Utopia.

We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you. Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! We also have recently launched a new venue 'The Nursery' at Kangarutha Farm, so consider holding your next event at Kangarutha! Contact us for details. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you. Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! Tinpot Farm is about 90 acres with about an acre and half of camping space on river frontage. Campers are required to be fully self sufficient with their own facilities for cooking and showers and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is a communal toilet for the campground. Campers can enjoy water activities in the Tuross River (fresh water) such as fishing, swimming and kayaking. Camp fires are allowed. Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). Based near Mount Utopia, Nerrigundah, we fell in love with our little sanctuary in 2020. There are two families Dwayne, Michelle, Robbie and Sharon and their four boys Blake, Taeg, Cooper and Flynn. Campers at heart, we started spending nearly every second weekend in our campers and this lead to many a night discussing what else we could do to make this property a place for others to use. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come, currently there is a ablution block that is up near the old house site, we decided it was best to have the camp area closer to the river. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

We loved staying at Darcy’s, we specifically stayed at site 1. The land was so clean and you can tell it’s being taken care of by amazing people. There’s baby trees everywhere and what caught my eye was the big willow tree, It was beautiful! We also saw the Emu and Buffalo’s next to our site. The toilet was really clean, cleaner than most campsites we’ve been to and does not smell at all. It was raining when we went so we couldn’t check the creek, we definitely will next time. Darcy was very welcoming and kind. It was our first camping with our 10 month old after a year of break. The stay brought us back why we started camping and travelling in the first place.

My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

We are 5 mins from the New MOGO MTB trails! On hot days you can grab your swimmers, snorkel and surfboard, and head down to a number of beaches at Tomakin and Broulee (15 mins from camp). When exploring the region, don't forget to stop in at the famous township of Mogo. This gorgeous village offers a quirky mix of art, crafts, homewares and collectibles, as well as fantastic food, clothing, specialty items, and well known favourites like Mogo Fudge or some marshmallows to toast on the campfire. The campsite is nestled amongst the tall gum trees and overlooks the dam. There is a firepit with a hot plate for delicious camp out dinners and firewood is available for sale under Extras. There is access to a toilet and rubbish facilities, but you will need to bring your own drinking water and shower. We can cater for all types of camping vehicles and tents, including 2WD. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

Pitch your tent or park your campertrailer in the native bushland with the pristine Numeralla River as your boundary fence. This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma. Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Orange Grove was established in 1856 on the banks of the cylde River Nelligen. It is set on 40 acres nestled on the edge of the Village of Nelligen, (15min Walk to its cafe and pub) and 8km west of Batemans Bay (10mindrive). Our camp grounds are set up on the Clyde's banks, all able to support enough area and access for 2wd, 4wd, RV and Car Camper set ups. Orange Grove, has a small basic boat ramp (there are public ramps 2mins down the road). With a beach and pontoon, you are able to leave your boat in the river for the duration of your stay. Batemans Bay is 15min down stream, an easy ride to pick up items not found in Nelligen. Our camp ground has a covered area with BBQ Facilites, tables, chairs, Water, fire pit (used in under the correct conditions), a toilet (Bring own Toilet paper). We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets. We always have a presence on the property and have good Telstra coverage, so although you feel a million miles from nowhere you also feel secure.
