At The Good Life, we’re big on personal space. Every campsite is large, private and genuinely secluded, giving you the feeling you’re a long way from everyone and everything. Your own patch of paradise. No caravan awnings poking you in the eye, no surprise drop-ins, and no listening to your neighbour’s snoring, generator or life story. Bliss.
Forget your phone alarm. Your morning wake-up call is the local kookaburra choir having a proper laugh at life. This is a true back-to-nature escape for anyone needing to pull up a stump, slow right down and properly unplug. If bird watching, stargazing or simply doing sweet nothing is your idea of a good time, you’ll fit right in.
Dogs are very welcome. Keep them on a lead while you’re wandering the property, then let them be their goofy, happy selves back at camp. Campfires are practically mandatory. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee.
Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories.
What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think.
There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails.
If you feel like venturing out, the Orara Valley and Coffs Coast offer stunning rainforests, beaches, waterfalls and swimming holes, all within a 30-minute drive.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas.
The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.
Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more.

Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request.

Guests will need to provide their own toilet facilities. There are free public Dump Points available in Bellingen, Urunga, Mylestom and Coffs Harbour

Campers can launch a boat from the property to enjoy all the river has to offer. You can drive the boat to the Ulmarra Hotel nearby, they have a jetty where you can park and enjoy a feed and a drink. You also can take the Ulmarra Ferry and Drive to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner or lunch.
You can access the property via road from Grafton or via Ferry from Lawrence and Maclean. We are located just 11kms from Grafton should you need any supplies. Please note, caravans are not permitted on the Ferry but camper trailers are okay.

There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees.
The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away.
Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

This was an old peach farm, set over 25 acres with a quarter of the property cleared for the farm (now with main house, tiny home and gardens there) and the rest left untouched with native forest.
Only seven minutes off the Pacific highway but it feels like a world away. Perfect for a nice overnight stop or to really chill out and disconnect for few days.
We've set up the camping area in a nice clearing immersed into the lovely natural forest surroundings. You will be camping next to an awesome lake where you can go for a paddle or a swim.
Other than the summer hum of cicadas or the cackle of some resident kookaburras, it's peaceful and private. There are plenty of roos and wallabies around, as well as lots of birdlife including black swans in the lake. You can paddle in the lake and try to catch a fish there. We've set up a little homemade pontoon.
So far only one spot to camp (that will fit up to 4 cars if you come in a group), so you will have the place all to yourselves.
You cannot see the next house (our Shouse and a tiny home), they are at least 400m away from the camping area, so solitude and privacy is guaranteed.
The property is close to plenty of beach options or nice little towns such as Woolgoolga (25 min south) and Grafton (25 minutes north).

Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories.
What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think.
There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas.
The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.
Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more.

Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request.

The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away.
Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

This was an old peach farm, set over 25 acres with a quarter of the property cleared for the farm (now with main house, tiny home and gardens there) and the rest left untouched with native forest.
Only seven minutes off the Pacific highway but it feels like a world away. Perfect for a nice overnight stop or to really chill out and disconnect for few days.
We've set up the camping area in a nice clearing immersed into the lovely natural forest surroundings. You will be camping next to an awesome lake where you can go for a paddle or a swim.
Other than the summer hum of cicadas or the cackle of some resident kookaburras, it's peaceful and private. There are plenty of roos and wallabies around, as well as lots of birdlife including black swans in the lake. You can paddle in the lake and try to catch a fish there. We've set up a little homemade pontoon.
So far only one spot to camp (that will fit up to 4 cars if you come in a group), so you will have the place all to yourselves.
You cannot see the next house (our Shouse and a tiny home), they are at least 400m away from the camping area, so solitude and privacy is guaranteed.
The property is close to plenty of beach options or nice little towns such as Woolgoolga (25 min south) and Grafton (25 minutes north).

DIRECTIONS FROM GRAFTON
To travel from Grafton, NSW to 593 Laytons Range Road, Nymboida, NSW via Coutts Crossing, follow these step-by-step directions:
1. Start in Grafton, NSW.
2. Head south on the Pacific Highway (A1) towards South Grafton.
- Cross the Clarence River, then follow signs for Glen Innes.
3. Exit onto Gwydir Highway (B76) heading west.
4.Turn left onto Armidale Road (towards Coutts Crossing and Nymboida).
- This turn is about 10 km from South Grafton.
5. Continue on Armidale Road for approximately 17 km to reach Coutts Crossing.
6. Drive through Coutts Crossing, staying on Armidale Road towards Nymboida.
Coming from Armadale:
7. Follow Armidale Road for approximately 20 km beyond Coutts Crossing.
8. Turn right onto Laytons Range Road.
9. Continue on Laytons Range Road for about 5.9 km.
10. Arrive at 593 Laytons Range Road, Nymboida, NSW.

What a slice of heaven!
We came on a cloudy couple of days but it still did not disappoint.
Our daughter and dog had so much land to run around on and he creek was magnificent!! Yes there is a bit of muck in the water but who cares!? It was still Crystal clear and warm.
We had a visit off the hosts puppy who was adorable anda brief interaction with the host who was super friendly and respectful.
Couldn’t fault a thing!!!
It required three river crossings and a small but steep Hill to get to the campsite. We are no way experienced caravans but we managed all obstacles fine. No need for putting down tyre pressure or using recovery gear.

Our family had the absolute best time. The grass was cut, no animal poop, fire set up ready (we bought wood), creek was sensational - we saw a platypus and a turtle. So much space in the camping area so our 2 & 4 year old could run around. Cows and horses came and visit us - our little one was able to pat a friendly horse. Owners are both so nice and had some yummy brownies for us on arrival. There is not one thing I can say as a negative about this campsite. We will 100% be back!!

Lovely spot on the river. Great campsites, lovely shade trees. Beautiful quiet long weekend away. Grass at our campsite was way too long. 2 lots of campers during our stay, one site appears to have been mowed in preparation for their stay, our site seemed unprepared.

We had a great time. The place was simple, but nicely in nature and very private. Is was very close to the road which made the place great for traveling on. The gate was a bit hard to find, but the owner responded quickly and helped us very friendly. I would stay here again when it would be one the route. I would not spend more then one night though.

Absolute stunning place to camp.The weather wasn't the best but hey thats part of camping. Hosts Ian and Bobbie were awesome and, as so many previous campers have confessed the home made brownies that Bobbie made for us were beautiful.

We really enjoyed our time camping at The Old Peach Farm! The lake was blissfully refreshing, being surrounded by trees and cicadas a real treat. We were very grateful for how set up the camp was with a toilet, benches around the fire pit, and fire-wood a plenty. We especially appreciated the two floating devices for play on the lake. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again some time soon.😊🙏🏼

Great spot by the river. We were lucky enough to be the only ones there, so we had the riverfront all to ourselves. Easy access to the water for a swim, which was a real highlight. The host was very friendly and even offered us a hot shower, which was much appreciated. Would happily stay again.
