Chaffin Creek Farm – A Regenerative Camping Experience Welcome to Chaffin Creek Farm, a 400-acre regenerative farm dedicated to conservation, restoration, and regenerative agriculture. We also host workshops focused on regenerative agriculture and health Nestled in the heart of Pillar Valley, our property offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by diverse wildlife, scenic bush tracks, and the soothing sounds of nature. The campsite sits along Chaffin Creek, where we’ve been actively restoring riparian zones, creating a thriving habitat for native flora and fauna. What to Expect Secluded Camping in Nature – Immerse yourself in a pristine natural environment with no crowds, just the sounds of the bush. Wildlife & Exploration – Enjoy bushwalking, birdwatching, and discovering the evolving landscape as we continue to regenerate the land. Basic Off-Grid Facilities – A beautiful composting toilet is available at the farm entrance, currently no shower facilities are available. Rain Water is Available at Entrance of the Property There is sparse reception once in the farm gates, coverage is available at the Farm Entrance Nearby Attractions Beaches – Just 20 minutes away, you'll find the stunning Wolli and Minnie Water beaches, perfect for swimming, fishing, and surfing. Historic Ulmarra – A 15-minute drive takes you to this charming riverside town, home to a fantastic pub on the Clarence River. Glenugie State Forest – Located 15 minutes away, it's great for hiking, mountain biking, 4WD adventures, hunting, and birdwatching. Grafton – A 30-minute drive brings you to the regional hub of Grafton, known for its historic buildings and famous Jacaranda Festival. This site is more than just a place to camp—it’s part of an ongoing ecological restoration. We’re actively planting trees, stabilising creek banks, and regenerating habitats, making your stay a unique opportunity to experience a landscape in transformation. The campsite offers a variety of spaces to suit your style—nestled among trees, in an open clearing, or right next to the creek. Scenic walking trails weave through the property, leading to areas where we’re restoring remnant rainforest. With a large, flat area, there’s plenty of room for multiple tents and vehicles. 🌱 Amenities: ✔️ Toilets: Seated composting toilet at the farm entrance ✔️ Space: Large, flat areas for tents and vehicles ✔️ Activities: Open areas perfect for a friendly game of cricket or frisbee ✔️ Scenic Walks: Trails through regenerating bushland and rainforest restoration zones ✔️ Seclusion: A peaceful escape where you’ll feel like the only ones in the world 🚿 Note: No water or showers yet—stay tuned for future improvements! Chaffin Creek Side Camp
Gina and Rob are so welcoming and the farm has a magic that you feel as soon as you enter the land. The campsite is shady and right by the creek surrounded by beautiful paperbarks and is peaceful and quiet. The hosts have so much knowledge about caring for the land and regenerative agriculture with the cattle that are moved to new paddocks regularly. They are also open to those who can give a help hand with lots of tree planting of rainforest species and weeding of lantana. Chaffin Ck is worth a visit.
