A great base to explore the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail only 1.7 Klms to Everton Station junction where you can choose your destination for the day. Also a gateway to exploring Beechworth , Eldorado and surroundings. Milawa gourmet region also close by.
Pioneer Bridges is a great local swimming spot for a refreshing dip in the warmer months, located 1.5 kilometres from the Everton township. It’s also dog friendly.
A plumbed toilet, sink - cold water only, also cold shower and power are available in the nearby shed (50- 70 meters) depending on where you set up. A leave no trace request also applies.
Both Telstra and Optus mobile coverage at the property.
In the warmer months a gazebo for additional shade is a good idea.

The site has a lovely sweeping bend that has water that's suitable for families to swim in with some shallow water for littlies to paddle in. There is also some lovely sand for the kids to play in. Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight.

We have lots of native plants on the property and have a spring fed dam on the property which is a beautiful spot to relax at twilight and try to spot the native wildlife. Our horse property is located only 20 minutes from Benalla or 30 minutes from Wangaratta with plenty to do in the surrounding area. From the property there is access to the Silo Art Trail, King Valley, Victorian High Country and a number of Sate Parks full of beautiful walks. Pets are welcome off leash but please be mindful of the horses, cattle and wildlife that are on the property.We have a portable toilet available for your use and fire pits available as well. We really enjoyed the camping at Willowood. It is a beautiful spot on the river with plenty of shade. The proximity to several towns is ideal if that is what you choose. A good spot to relax. If you rely on solar , you may have to out from the river a bit.

We had a really great stay - beautiful camp spot amongst the pine trees with nice level ground and perfect soil for putting a tent peg in. The composting toilet was well looked after and the visit to watch the goats getting milked was a highlight for the kids. Fantastic place to camp!

We stayed at beans bend with children and dogs. The space was perfect. There was a small ledge that allowed us closer access to the water for fishing. We managed to catch a monster carp and baby cod. The kids loved waking around and seeing the sheep. Simon was amazing and very welcoming, so thank you!

We had a lovely relaxing time at Tim's place. He met us at the gate and guided us to the camp site 4 by the river. Each site is far enough away to give you plenty of privacy. Our dogs loved swimming in the river. Thank you for sharing your land. We will definitley be back!

Lovely picturesque spot by the Goulburn River. Nice flat spot. Only downside was access to water is a little difficult and very steep, especially with kids.
Tim was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful with great communication, but gave us our privacy.
We had a last minute guest and Tim was so accommodating.
Will look to be back at another of Tim's spots with some easier access to the water :)

Lovely place with flat campsites and plenty of shade. The host has provided excellent instructions on how to find the place. Nice clean little town with good cafes. I would recommend this stay to heavy sleepers because between the traffic noise, the roosters crowing and the cockatoos squawking all morning, I wasn’t able to sleep very well, but I am a light sleeper so not everyone would care about the noise.

It felt peaceful, spacious and completely removed from everything, while still being close to plenty of little towns with lots to see and do.
There is so much wildlife around. We saw kangaroos regularly, and even had an echidna wander straight through our campsite, which felt incredibly special. It was also the first time I got to see and photograph Rosellas, which made the stay even more memorable.
The site itself was clean and private. This spot is best suited to self sufficient campers with a 4WD and an off road caravan, especially if you want to explore the surrounding area comfortably.
Brenda was wonderful. As this was our first proper off road adventure with our caravan, she was incredibly helpful and generous with her local knowledge. She offered plenty of suggestions on places to see and things to do nearby.
As you exit the property, the neighbouring farm even has a little roadside jam farm store, which was such a sweet country touch.
Dogs were welcome on lead, which was perfect for us travelling with ours.
We would absolutely come back if we are in Victoria again.

A great overnight stop between Sydney and the Grampians. Easy to find. We camped and the ground was flat and shady. Some background noise from the nearby freeway and train line.

Second time staying here, we love it 5 days of 40+ degrees was a killer but that river is magnificent to cool off in!
Cows at your camp in the morning are lovely, clean camp site, we were the only ones there all week. Couple general stores and local hotel only 10mins up the road.
