Golfers are spoilt for choice with three championship golf courses within a 30 minute radius.
Despite all the region has to offer, guests may not want to leave the Moodemere Lake House. The day can be whiled away right on your doorstep. From the deck you may spend the morning watching for platypus. There are over 100 species of birds, including eagles, swans and pelicans. Native wildlife such as echidnas and kangaroos are regular visitors. A short walk along the bank of Lake Moodemere and the vineyard leads to the cellar door where guests may enjoy a relaxed lunch and private wine tasting. At dusk light up the fire pit and experience the spectacular sunset over Lake Moodemere.
A walk around Lake Moodemere, and along the Murray River will take around two hours and provide many memorable, unique, and beautiful sights. The track is also suitable for cyclists and horses. Bring an esky and ice for you food and drinks. Here you will have access to rubbish/recycling facilities, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery).
Enjoy the nearby King Valley wineries, rivers and creeks or simply kick back at camp and watch the Roos and cows in the paddock below. The caravan is ideal for a couple or small family. The track up to the campsite is 2wd accessible in dry weather for capable drivers. The caravan is set up with lights and a USB charger. There is a BBQ set up for you to use and basic pantry items (oil, salt, pepper etc) there is a lovely fire pit with logs bench seats but probably worth packing your camping chair. We very much look forward to hosting you and are happy to help you out with ideas on places to swim, eat, fish, bush walk, bike ride etc.

Weekend Trip to Blackwood Cabin
We had the most wonderful weekend staying here and honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is absolutely beautiful – so peaceful, cosy and surrounded by stunning scenery. Waking up to the fresh country air and relaxing by the fire made it the perfect little getaway.
The Geoff and Ann were incredible from start to finish. They were so welcoming, kind, helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and making us feel right at home. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special.
You can tell so much love and care has gone into this place, and it made it so easy to switch off and relax. We left feeling refreshed (and a little sad to be leaving!).
We can’t recommend this beautiful cabin enough and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for having us!

We loved our stay at Anne and Geoff's cabin. My son loved the open space, and the cow and sheep wandering through, plus the pond with goldfish. We definitely needed the indoor fire and the outdoor fire pit was lovely to have too. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all and have a digital detox :)

We had the most amazing stay! The cabin is so cosy and falling asleep to the crackle of the fire was so relaxing. We loved being off grid and exploring the bushland around. Ann & Geoff were so lovely and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend Blackwood Cabin for anyone wanting to slow down and reset from their busy lives. Weekend Trip to Blackwood Cabin
Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. What a lovely little Farm stay and so close to the Murray River on a charming almond and olive farm.
I received such great hospitality from the hosts who greeted me in a downpour and made sure I was looked after. I highly recommend a stop off to stay the night here at Ainsley Organics.

Eldorado’s family shepherd’s hut was the perfect getaway! It had everything we needed— a comfy bed with great pillows, a convenient ensuite, and much-appreciated air conditioning, especially on a scorching 38-degree day. The location was ideal, with the pub just a short walk away serving delicious meals. My only regret? Not staying longer! Highly recommend for a relaxing and well-equipped escape.
