Come and Stay in a very comfortable and well appointed bell tent in a beautiful tranquil bush setting on my 12 acre property. This is BYO bedding to keep the price affordable but still with all the comforts. Nestled in a little valley. Lots of wildlife, beautiful walks and a swimming hole is just up the road. The site is off grid but still has 240v via a battery and inverter setup and all the other creature comforts including a well setup outdoor kitchen with BBQ and sink. The bathroom is close by with hot shower and flushing toilet and is shared with one other site. There is wood heater inside the tent. Just bring some bedding and your set to go for a fantastic relaxing few nights in the bush. In the cooler months, we will leave some Firewood, lighters and matches inside the tent for the fire box however wood for outside fires is BYO, there’s plenty of kindling and sticks on the property to collect.

Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Weekend Trip to Magdella Farmhouse

The farmhouse is a perfect getaway for families or small groups. Not too far from the city, easy to get to, has all the amenities to be comfortable and the land is big enough to go on a short walk. The horses in the adjacent lot were friendly enough to come up to the fence for a pat. Kitchen is stocked with equipment, there’s heaters and extra blankets to keep warm. The tv has casting capability which made watching movies by the fire nice and easy. A couple of points to note. It is on a moderately busy road considering how remote it is. Just tune out the passing traffic and it’s otherwise completely peaceful. Also, you’ll need to bring water or boil and cool the water there to drink/use. Overall, great value! We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. It was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. We would definitely come back again and stay.

We had the most amazing stay in Delldint’s Medievil Cottage. The building itself is impressive and the hospitalty even more so. The property was quiet with birds and kangeroos hanging around. Stunning views in all directions, amazing welcoming stay!! Initially planned to go out for dinner but those plans changed as soon as we arrived only shame was we had to leave to top up groceries!! The serenity and beauty is not done justice by any of the photos!

1 night at Glenhope Getaway

Catherine was lovely and obviously enjoys being a most thoughtful, supportive and proactive host. Glenhope getaway offers more than you see in the profile. The shack has a big room with a queen bed and a single bed with drawable curtains around each of them, a couch, big TV and electric heater, as well as the pot belly stove. The views are better than the photos. It’s very quiet and private. The shower is just cold water but that makes it more fun because you can have a quick shower, dry off a bit and warm up in front of the pot belly stove. I didn’t use the stove but it would make the room very warm very quickly. There’s now a table and planters on the deck. The property hasn’t been designed as a getaway. The accommodation is in a typical working farm as is. Much of the land is rocky which you can see in the photos. The long road from the gate to the house has no rocks and has flat and gently sloping sections and is fun to run along if you feel like an easy run. It’s an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay.

This glamping site is absolutely amazing! It’s everything we could have asked for and more! The tent setup was beautiful, the kitchen was great and the bathroom hadn’t everything you needed. The views were spectacular, it was so peaceful and the night sky was breathtaking! Susie was an amazing host and the food boxes allowed us to not have to leave the site and just enjoy the peace and quiet! We will absolutely be coming back again!!

I cannot recommend Kilbirnie Peak enough for a relaxing weekend away! We spent our first anniversary here - and between the assortment of lounging options, outdoor bath under the stars, epic sunrise/sunset, open air shower, fire pit, pizza oven, bird life, comfy tent, regal resident alpaca, we were spoiled for choice on ways to unwind. The midday checkout was also a treat too, no alarms necessary and more time to sit in the bath! The host Susie was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back. ❤️🌅

2 nights at Kilbirnie Peak Glamping

This glamping experience was phenomenal. So relaxing and everything you need is right here! The view is breathtaking and watching the eagles over the gully was amazing. Susie is the perfect host, even dropping off extra firewood for us. Every amenity is covered, and even flushing toilet and a hot shower can be had. We will definitely be back 💖

Highly recommend Kilbirnie Peak Glamping if you’re looking for a country getaway. 360 degree views of the country side, comfy bed, bath on the deck (with hot water), toilet and shower (it is glamping), pizza oven and BBQ, fire pit (when it’s not a total fire ban), lots of sheep and an alpaca 🦙, had yummy homemade cookies waiting for us, so many little touches (mozzie coils, usb fans, phone chargers, lovely toiletries, plenty of towels, speaker), just wasn’t a long enough stay ❤️ Susie is a fabulous host and great communication. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing place to stay. Sunrise shining through the tent in the morning and unbelievable sunsets at night. And the bath tub which was great on the hot days. We had clear nights so were treated to some of the best stars we've seen. Hosts were great as well. Highly recommend the breakfast box.

What a special experience at Susan’s place. The bath is spectacular!!!! Susan has thought of every detail. Plates, glassware, tea and coffee - it all made the glamping very glamorous! The tent was very cosy and extra blankets much appreciated as the temperature did drop at night. Thanks Susan for making such a special guest house.

Totally awesome glamping tent setup. Super comfy bed and just the right amount of creature comforts to feel right at home, but still feel like you’re getting away from ‘it all’. Loved the thoughtful fairy lights and outdoor bath. Added to that magical factor. Kerry was also super communicative and flexible, gave great reccos for things to do in town. 5 stars.

beautiful spot for a circuit-breaker from city life. Technically, you're in a tent, but it's the size of a small apartment, so it's easy to just chill out, relax, and unwind. A decent kitchen, bathroom, a lovely and a lovely little deck from which to gaze at the stars make this place a delight.

Don’t go looking elsewhere but do yourself a favour and book your stay here! Its the most magical place with everything you need and more. From the candles to the firelighters, lots of blankets, pizza oven, grill, open fireplace, lots of ottomans and a bathtub. We felt at peace and very secluded. Susi has done such an excellent job and deserves lots of credit for it. She wrote us a little note and packed two delicious homemade cookies which was extremely cute. Will definitely come back for more and recommend to anyone i know!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
