Surrounded by nature, you’ll have the chance to spot native Australian wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, rabbits, lizards, and a variety of birds. Local horses also roam nearby, adding to the rural charm. The property includes a spacious four-bedroom guesthouse, perfect for families or groups. Located close to local wineries and the charming townships of Nagambie and Rushworth, it’s also just a short drive to the historic Whroo gold mine. Explore the natural surroundings with scenic bushwalks around Nagambie Lake or take a hike along Reedy Lake. It’s the perfect base for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature.This is a full-house rental only. Once you book, the entire home is reserved for your group’s exclusive use (maximum 9 guests). To help us manage resources and keep cleaning efficient, we kindly ask that you only use the number of beds that match the number of guests in your booking. For example: 2 guests = use up to 2 beds 3 guests = up to 3 beds 4 guests = up to 4 beds, and so on. You are free to choose any beds in any room according to your group’s needs.

Magdella Farmhouse
The farmhouse is a perfect getaway for families or small groups. Not too far from the city, easy to get to, has all the amenities to be comfortable and the land is big enough to go on a short walk. The horses in the adjacent lot were friendly enough to come up to the fence for a pat. Kitchen is stocked with equipment, there’s heaters and extra blankets to keep warm. The tv has casting capability which made watching movies by the fire nice and easy. A couple of points to note. It is on a moderately busy road considering how remote it is. Just tune out the passing traffic and it’s otherwise completely peaceful. Also, you’ll need to bring water or boil and cool the water there to drink/use. Overall, great value! We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. It was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. We would definitely come back again and stay.
