Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
“Shady Park” is a mixed cropping and sheep farm spanning 2,000 acres. We offer an exclusively fenced 10-acre paddock for fully self-contained campers who want to relax and unwind under the stars on a working sheep and cropping property. Enjoy the peace and privacy, surrounded by wide-open spaces and stunning rural views. Sit back with a cold drink at the picnic table by the dam, watch the sunset, and take in the natural sounds of the farm and native wildlife. There is plenty of room for large setups, with easy drive-through access and ample turning space. Unhook and take a short drive into Berrigan to enjoy local pubs, the IGA, cafés, and the bakery, or explore nearby Murray River towns including Tocumwal, Cobram/Barooga, and Mulwala/Yarrawonga. With so much to see and do in the picturesque Southern Riverina, your options are endless. Please note: • There is no access to power or water — campers must be fully self-contained with their own water and toilet/shower facilities. • As this is an operating farm with trucks, heavy machinery, and large open dams for stock, children must be supervised at all times. • Pets are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.Shady Park camping area is a fenced open paddock, drive in & set up camp anywhere.
