Otford is a historic village in a valley between Sydney and Wollongong, and bounded by the Pacific ocean. Our private acreage backs onto the southern tip of the Royal National Park, so the outlook from the campsite is all leafy trees. Walk to lookouts over the ocean, hike down to the beach or a few minutes drive to dog friendly beaches. Our bathroom and kitchen facilities make it an easy experience for first time campers. We are well-behaved-dog-friendly BUT you must let us know in advance. Our access track to the camping sites has been repaired with a deep layer of asphalt but still best suited to 4WD. The majority of standard 2WD cars manage the track fine There is also the option of parking roadside, and walking in approx 300m to the sites. Please message us if unsure about your vehicle. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ 1. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog/dogs - we have horses, house dogs, chickens and; wildlife plus likely other campers close by, so need to be forewarned. Dogs must be on lead or contained at all times. 2. If you need to camp out of your 4WD RV (such as a roof top tent), please contact me before booking to ensure those two particular vehicle sites are still available :) and that your vehicle is suitable for our track. Maximum length is approx 5m. Please scroll through the photos to see our amenities and camping sites. 3. We limit the number of people staying at any one time, so weekends book up quickly. That said, due to Covid and weather, people often cancel at the last minute too, so if we are currently booked out, it's always worthile checking again closer to the date for any availability. We are on acreage (approx 7 acres) in Otford, surrounded by forest, backing onto the very southern end of the Royal National Park Sydney/Wollongong. Sleep under the stars, and to the hoot of our local owls, and yips of the gorgeous feather-tail gliders. Lovely, peaceful and private in a bushland backdrop but so close and just a hike to famous sites, beaches, cafes and bushwalking - so the perfect spot to stop, unpack and then go exploring. Noonameena is a 100 acre natural bushland property located approx 7kms outside of Berrima, NSW in the Southern Highlands. While most of the property is covered by a variety of natural bushland, a small flat area of cleared land is perfect for recreational campers. The property has access to the Wingecarribee River to the south, a natural pool and large dam in the camping area. Loved this campsite. Even though it was only an hour from Sydney, it really feels like you’re away from it all. The facilities are awesome and the property is beautiful. We had the camping area to ourselves for most of the weekend but even with another group there it felt very private. Great access to Sea Cliff Bridge area. My dog also loved this place. I would love to come back!

We stayed at Natasha's property as a stopover while traveling from the North Coast of NSW to the South Coast. It was the perfect halfway place for us to recharge. The warm shower was nice and the level ground perfect. Would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the area. Natasha was prompt in replying to my messages which was very much appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Natasha's beautiful property. Us and another family booked the two camp sites on the arena and couldn't have been happier with the location and facilities. So much room, excellent kitchen and bathroom, and the outside bath was a favourite for adults and kids alike. In an added bonus we had some fabulous whale watching just up the road. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful and quiet spot! Had the entire campsite to ourselves. 10 mins away from local beach and Swan Lake. Friendly horses, kangaroos and farm animals! Would definitely come back! Lisa was also very friendly and helpful during our stay!

The sites are in a beautiful shady, sheltered spot - could hear wind blowing all night in the trees above us, but no wind in the arena. Very thoughtfully appointed kitchen and bathroom, the luxury shower and outdoor clawfoot bath definitely count as glamping rather than camping. Really the only things you’d have to bring are your tent, toothbrush, and food. Plenty of seating, tables, and huge tub of toys & games for little ones. The friendly horses were a delight, as were the King Parrots who came to visit each day. Stanwell Beach a handy 7 minute drive away. Would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Horses for healing at Sussex Inlet and would highly recommend this spot for anyone who is looking to stay at quiet and secluded spot. The property was easy to find and host met us at arrival. Campground is located near the paddock with alpacas and a donkey (host told that we could pet them, but they were shy and kept their distance, so we decided not to disturb them). We saw many kangaroos during our stay as well. Overall nice spot and would try to come again during warmer months.

This is a great quiet Hipcamp set in beautiful surroundings. Natasha was very welcoming and great instructions on getting into the property. The toilet and shower facilities are some of the best we’ve had. I had myself and my two daughters, it was quite cold but being able to have a fire was great. So close to many things to do.

It was a little tight to access the site but Natasha's instructions were clear. Loved the bath and wash/toilet/kitchen facilities. We walked from the site to Bulgo beach. A fairly hard trek with loads of elevation but certainly worth it. The Otford Pantry is really good. Coffee, cakes and pies. Nothing beats an open fire for Winter camping so its safe to say we'll be back.
