We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website. Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded, private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee. Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories. What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think. There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. NOTE: No treated wood to be brought or burnt on the property The Rest Point Hotel sells bags of firewood. As per Hipcamp guidelines, be fire safe, dispose of garbage responsibly and leave no trace. The grass is left lush for the roaming cattle to enjoy, however we will endeavour to slash the 40+ acres and/or whipper-snip around firepits when possible. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories. What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Hacketts Haven is our 68 acre property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. We have several shaded areas surrounding small dams and springs, scattered throughout the 20 acres. Located approximately 1km off Big River Way (formally the Pacific Highway) this is approximately 2km from the New Highway off-ramp. We are fortunate to have a sealed road to the front gate. The allocated camping area is 500 metres inside the front gate, located in-front of our front dam. The House is located 1km from the front gate. Currently, we do not have any livestock on the property. Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Good access for 2WD, caravans and RVs. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, and there is a fire-pit available. BYO firewood or gather your own from the fallen branches or logs in and around the campsite.

The facilities are thorough and very comfortable. Clean, with hot water. The camp kitchen is well stocked. Our stay at Ian's Hipcamp was everything we dreamed of and more. The camping spot is perfectly situated right on a beautiful, winding creek, offering the ultimate private escape. We were able to set up our camper right on the sandy bank, giving us direct access to the water for swimming and relaxing. The location is incredibly picturesque, featuring a stunning contrast between the lush, dense greenery lining the river on one side and an open, sunny field on the other. It feels wonderfully wild yet totally accessible. A huge shout-out to our incredible hosts, Ian and Bobbie! They were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They even surprised us with a batch of homemade brownies—such a thoughtful touch that truly elevated our stay. Beautifully maintained camping area we had a huge grassy and flat spot by the river with a fire pit. Appreciated the çlean composting toilet. The swimming hole was deep and had a flat granite rock in the middle of the river that the kids spent hours jumping off. Stuart was an easy going host who offered us early arrival and late pack up. We had a wonderful weekend!

My partner and I really enjoyed our camping experience on the Belinger River.. The scenery was picturesque, lush green grass and landscape and a beautiful river to swim in. Also a great place for our fury child to run around.. Ben was prompt and easy to communicate with. You will need to be self sufficient and bring everything you need as there is no facilities apart from pit toilets. Which we enjoyed that part of it too. Close to town but still feels like you’re away from it all..

Our 3rd time to this property, 2nd time on site one, as usual Stuart has it well maintained and looking lovely. Excellent flat grassed campgrounds with heaps of room. This site is located on a bend in the river with easy access to deep pools and waterfalls. After our second trip is the pic of the three in our opinion. Host advisers 4WD only and he is right. The track in and out after a spot of rain in very slippery. We suggest taking some basic recovery gear such as recovery tracks.

LOCATION: The campsite is located underneath towering gum trees and is near a small creek. There is a range of native bird life to listen to and relax. At night you might see owls, wallabies or possums. The location is walking distance to the town of Bellingen for supplies. Our house / the car space for campers is located 1km from the Bellingen IGA supermarket (approximately 14 minutes walk). ACCESS: Please note we classify this as a walk-in campsite as there is a steep dirt road leading from our house down through a pocket of rain forest to the site. Some 4WDs can access the site if the weather is dry but this is mostly a walk-in campsite (any rain at all and you can't get back up the hill - we found out the hard way). The walk from the car parking space to the camp site is approximately 500m. FACILITIES: Just nature! We will provide a shovel for you to dig a toilet hole. The site does have a fire pit you may use subject to any local fire bans at the time of your stay. OTHER: We live on the property with our family, so we ask that guests keep noise to a minimum when walking past the house, or if accessing their car at night or early morning. Thank you!

Only 15 mins drive from the town of Macksville, 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour, 45 minutes from Port Macquarie and 20 minutes or so (but who counts) from the famous Pub With no Beer (which does have beer). This property is extremely private with a number of camp sites that have you feeling like the rest of the world no longer exists. There are six dams and views to the coast (from the top of the hill). You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.
