It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Could I recommend this place? YES. Can I truly put into words how good it is? Probably not… but I’ll try. The family is so passionate about what they do. The care, love, and knowledge they have for their animals is incredible – especially seeing the kids so involved in running the place. The spacing between the sites is great, and the areas are nice and flat too, which made setting up super easy. As an avid photographer, I actually didn’t take many photos because I was so immersed in the experience and in their stories. Getting to handle the Highland cows was something I’ll never forget. An easy 5 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
