We've set up the camping area in a nice clearing immersed into the lovely natural forest surroundings. You will be camping next to an awesome lake where you can go for a paddle or a swim. Other than the summer hum of cicadas or the cackle of some resident kookaburras, it's peaceful and private. There are plenty of roos and wallabies around, as well as lots of birdlife including black swans in the lake. You can paddle in the lake and try to catch a fish there. We've set up a little homemade pontoon. So far only one spot to camp (that will fit up to 4 cars if you come in a group), so you will have the place all to yourselves. The next house (our Shouse) is at least 300m away from the camping area, so solitude and privacy is guaranteed. The property is close to plenty of beach options or nice little towns such as Woolgoolga (25 min south) and Grafton (25 minutes north).

We booked this site on incredibly short notice and have absolutely no regrets. The moment we showed up we were greeted with big smiles and fresh eggs! We were so shocked considering we gave them only 30 minutes notice of our arrival. Our site had just been taken by someone else, but Ro directed us down to a site next to a little stream and pond. It was just what we needed for a few nights to get some washing done and have some downtime. The Firepit was excellent and there was already a heap of firewood for us to use. We had a heap of fun trying to catch yabbies and identify frogs. The hosts were so lovely, and even checked if the nearby mowing was too annoying for us. We felt so welcomed here and are excited to come back and see all the amazing things they have planned for this camp.

This place had some of the best kept grounds I have ever seen at any Hipcamp. The lawns were mowed to perfection. Perfectly level grounds and so much room to spread out for privacy. If you are looking for a private, extremely quiet and peaceful place to unwind, wet a line or just enjoy wide open spaces, this is it. Kangaroos visit at dawn and dusk, along with a very friendly horse. Dogs are welcome too.

Wow, words can not do justice the amazing time we had at the Ranch! The river views, the hospitality, the tranquility & the fire baths were just magical. Shanti has truly created a slice of heaven out there. For the icing on the cake, make sure to book the horse trek + swim.. i’ve done many treks in my life and this was the best. Plenty of trotting and cantering through stunning scenery, finished by a swim with the horses. Shanti’s way with horses is so special to witness, you can tell they love her as much as she loves them. We will be back, with friends in tow.
