Roadworks will be occurring at Peedee Hill from now until July 2026. This will only affect campers travelling through Kempsey. Peedee Hill is 30 minutes from the campground and just over an hour from Kempsey. The road will be impassable Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, Wednesdays 9am-2pm, Saturdays 8am – 1pm. If you leave Kempsey an hour before the road opens you will be able to drive straight through.

DO NOT USE GPS once on Kempsey Road! Because the road is closed on Live Traffic, GPS will take you into the back hills.

Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen.
We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers.
Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day.
Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water).
If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website.
At all our campsites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Reach out if you want us to have them defrosted for your arrival.

If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim.
The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise.
There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush.
Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in.
It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's.
The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. We are a rural property so do not have rubbish collection services. (Fees apply for any left behind rubbish).

My property consists of 100 acres with two rivers joining in the property with at least 1 km of river frontage. We are located in the foothills of the Nambucca valley.
Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville.
Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife.
Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views.
Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings.
We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok.

Rules:
1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times.
2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock
3. 9pm quiet time.
4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers
5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm.
6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Roadworks will be occurring at Peedee Hill from now until July 2026. This will only affect campers travelling through Kempsey. Peedee Hill is 30 minutes from the campground and just over an hour from Kempsey. The road will be impassable Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, Wednesdays 9am-2pm, Saturdays 8am – 1pm. If you leave Kempsey an hour before the road opens you will be able to drive straight through.

DO NOT USE GPS once on Kempsey Road! Because the road is closed on Live Traffic, GPS will take you into the back hills.

Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen.
We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers.
Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day.
Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water).
If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website.
At all our campsites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Reach out if you want us to have them defrosted for your arrival.

If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim.
The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise.
There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush.
Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in.
It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's.
The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. We are a rural property so do not have rubbish collection services. (Fees apply for any left behind rubbish).

My property consists of 100 acres with two rivers joining in the property with at least 1 km of river frontage. We are located in the foothills of the Nambucca valley.
Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville.
Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife.
Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views.
Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings.
We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok.

Lovely relaxing place to stay with kids. Nice safe place to swim, lots of space to run around and play cricket, throw a frisbee or kick a footy. Well maintained and hosts are very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble.

We really enjoyed our two day visit to Bundilla River Camp. The sites are massive and well grassed. We really liked that Rick and Cheryl make kayaks and boogie boards available so that you can get maximum enjoyment out of being so close to the river. We’d definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rick and Cheryl’s farm. We were sad to only be able to stay one night but we got to explore and enjoy the water and game tour which the kids really enjoyed. This place is marked in our trip to ensure we comeback again to stay on our trip home. Our favorite hip camp place so fa.

There isn't really anything negative to say about this place. I won't repeat what everyone else has said, so I'll try and add a few points.
No mozzies? Mid Jan and no mozzies. I don't know if this is normal, but it's awesome.. Lots of flies though.
The water is just so wonderful. We swam and explored all over the immediate body of water near the camp. We had goggles too. You don't see much life when swimming around, but stay still in the one place for a few minutes and you'll have baby bass, gudgeon and rainbow fish swimming up to say hello. We had a bit of a fish for bass and caught a few little fella's. Nothing large though. You have to go wandering up the river to find some holes..
Sit on the bank and you'll catch kingfishers diving in the water, herrons and an assortment of other birds. Beautiful little blue fairy wrens hang around the tents too.
So much life around..
Anyway, we loved it. Will probably come back at some point

This was our second visit to Rick and Cheryl’s wonderful campsite and definitely not our last. It was even better than the first time with new animals, the new toilet block and Nicole’s delicious sweet treats. You couldn’t ask for better hosts with the time they generously give each afternoon showing you the animals, the knowledge they share about farm life and the time they allow you to explore. Can’t wait to get back.

Great facilities and space! Gorgeous surroundings and very family friendly.
If you would like to do the Creek Walk be warned that it is very challenging and you will get very wet! Prepare with wet shoes/trainers and swimmers on as some bits get really deep.

we loved how peaceful it was, the amenities were very tidy. Donald was helpful in telling us where to go swimming! the camp kitchen and lights were great. it's a beautiful spot and close to coffs. lovely grass and surrounds and birds!

Such a great stay in a wonderful spot. Really great for a few days with the kids to fish and swim in the river. The animal feeding was great fund and the baking was a real treat. Probably the best long drop toilets I have ever seen!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The plot of land it falls upon is stunning with the beautiful river so close. Rick and Cheryl are so lovely and hospitable and you could do much worse than try Nicole’s sweet treats.

Such a beautiful space and plenty of room to set up and maintain privacy. The morning swim in the creek was lovely and refreshing. Loved having the washing machine and dryer for a quick freshen up of clothes on the road. We weren't there long but we really enjoyed the quiet and peace it offers.

We love it here. Have been twice and plan to come back. The sites are roomy, plenty for the kids to do with visits up to the farm to feed the animals and snuggle the bunnies. The river is clear and safe. We brought some biscuits and brownies from their daughter too and they were delicious as well as eggs. A very safe relaxing place to go!

The camping area is absolutely fantastic. Right next to the Ballengarra river. Rick and Cheryl provide kayaks and boogie boards for guests, an undercover bbq area and immaculately clean toilets.
Their daughter Nicole comes down daily to sell delicious baked goods and fresh eggs can also be purchased.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm and will be back for sure. Will also be recommending it to our friends and family for sure.
If you want a relaxing enjoyable camping experience with friendly hosts this is the place to go.

We did a 2-night stay in a powered campervan at oasis of hope. Our host Lars was very responsive, the location of this campsite is fantastic in particular the far camp with its stunning backdrop and creek access. The laundry room and complimentary washer/dryer in particular was a great and much needed feature for us. The lavatories and showers were clean and quiet. Thanks Lars & co.
