You can access the Hunter River (approx 200m) for fishing, swimming or explore the river by kayaking the 11km into Maitland or the 21km downstream from Luskintyre. Pickup/delivery could be arranged with notice. Ride a pushbike along the backroads exploring the area, following on the bike paths, Walka Waterworks, historical buildings and points of interest in Maitland. It’s an easy 15 minute walk down the lane or back into the shopping centre. Whilst we welcome your pets, we ask that they are on a leash as there is cattle, sheep, horses, chooks and birdlife around us. Please pickup after them! Your own toilet is a necessity. The horses wander through the camping area but keep to themselves and were happy to come over when approached. We stayed on Site 1, and it was handy having power and water as optional add‑ons rather than automatically included. The flexibility was perfect for a simple overnight stop. There is the “Sugar Rush” stand opened at a certain time (maybe school holidays?) obviously One Mile beach is right there with awesome access plus amazing hikes and quad biking ect close by. Facility’s clean and well maintained, pick your time for showers though if you want a HOT shower. Great staff, great park. 4 kids and 2 adults really and truly enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Trip to BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park

Check in was good and very informational. The laundry and amenities were clean and very functional. It was really quiet at night which was brilliant. A great spot to pull in just far enough off the highway to not hear it at all. Would be good for families.

We enjoyed our week at Pear Tree Farm. The views are really nice, friendly horses and it was handy taking up the power & water extra. There was another camper on the other site but this posed no problems as there was heaps of distance between the sites. The location was also good with shops nearby and some nice walking trails about 10 minutes away. Communication with Andrew was also easy and clear throughout. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Brad is an excellent host, around when you need him and happy to help. We found the amenities to be so clean and comfortable, dont forget your $1 coins for hot showers! The camp kitchen is excellent. Flat drive through sites, very close to the highway, perfect for the overnight stopover. Road noise is a thing here though, so if your looking for absolute peace and quiet, choose something further from the main road.

Such an awesome place, ammenities and kitchen area are great, nice big open area so you don’t feel like you’re camping on top of others, Brad is also a great bloke and was super welcoming and hospitable! We would highly recommend this hipcamp!!

Beautiful views and great location for self sufficient campers. Lovely bird life on the property. Hospitality is excellent with lots of local tips. Make sure you don’t miss a Cellar door tasting with Ana.

Weekend Trip to 99 Hipcamp

Great camp site. Must be fully self contained. Aaarrh the serenity. Surrounded by Wineries. Very peaceful. Only thing would be numbers on sites. Didn't matter plenty of space but would be nice. Close to Valley Pub. Supermarkets, coffee etc Really enjoyed our stay
