The camping at Catherine’s site was amazing! Both her and John were super accommodating and helpful with locating the site and managing the wet weather. The facilities were extremely clean (including the compost toilet) and added a level of luxury to the tent camping experience. We got to feed the sheep and deer as well as meet newly born twin lambs. Overall the site is very well maintained, easy to find, great location and super hosts. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Casapalou Riverside Camp

The campsite was lovely, nice and flat, lots of shade trees and the kids loved swimming off the Pontoon. It would be great for a few quiet days away ( no kids ;) ) . There had been heaps of rain in the area which made navigating down the hill a bit of a challenge, we needed Help to pull our Motorhome out because there had been further rain the morning we left. It wasn't ideal but Paul was really helpful and had us up the hill with his excavator in no time. We really appreciated his assistance with other family members as well. It would be a great camp site if you were into Kayaking the river is perfect for a paddle. There is ample space to accomodate large groups of people, we generally meet up with family and have quite a large set up. The dump point in at Nabiac was only a few km away so it was easy to dispose of waste and rubbish. There is a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if the wind is in the right direction but not enough to cause any issues and not enough to interrupt sleep.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this campsite! The site was clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Host Marg and Roo were incredibly friendly and made our stay truly memorable. Roo even joined us for lunch and later guided us on an amazing hike to the top of the mountain. To top it off, we had an exciting ride on the buggy, which was a highlight of our trip. We recommend this place definitely and looking forward to visiting again. We had an amazing stay at the campsite! From the moment we arrived in the car, we received such a warm and friendly welcome—they were incredibly kind to both us and our dog, which meant a lot. Throughout our stay, they checked in to make sure everything was going well. We received a lovely welcome message offering a communal BBQ, a camping essentials and help to set up a fireside, and they even delivered everything to us on a buggy! The toilets were clean, which we really appreciated. Overall, such a great experience—we'll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Diamond Park Campsite

We loved it so much the first time and came back for more and brought family and friends with us. Everyone loved the peace and quiet waking up to the sounds of nature. Breakfast overlooking the dam with the sunrise was amazing. No fish this time they managed to elude my husband’s line, but they did get a great feed. The dogs loved that they could run free in the fenced camping area, my foxie did not stop, forever on perimeter patrol and hunting the skinks which managed to get away. Planning our next trip to again enjoy this little piece of paradise.

Amazing stay! Huge secure snapping ground for the extended family to enjoy! Catherine is a wonderful host, great communication and instructions, John was amazing at the property, so helpful and kind! The “Big Tree” spot was perfect, plenty of space for the kids and the dog to play and run around without bothering the neighbours, close to the toilet and the shower and laundry, though a little bit further away, were very well kept. Our crew had a very large caravan/Land Rover, Kluger w/rooftop and a large Isuzu NNR camper truck and there was plenty of room to spare. The campfire was great. Thank you!

Great campsite that was private with its fenced areas. Compost toilet nearby the campsite with plumbed toilet and shower further away near the entry to the property. The hosts houses were a distance away so the site was always private but they checked it regularly in case we needed anything which was good. Will definitely book again if we are staying near diamond beach. Our family enjoyed the animals at the farm as well as the dams for fishing.

I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage. You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi. Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Yes there are mozzies because you are near water, so bring repellent. Pets are welcome but must stay on a leash throughout your stay. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Please BYO firewood. Fires are only permitted when there are no fire restrictions and in the designated fire pit and designated fire pit area for your own fire pit. Children 16 & under stay for free. We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach, 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome, but please pick up after them. Free firewood - Help yourself to what you need. The logs will need to be split as required. An axe and a wheelbarrow are supplied and are stored, in the firewood storage shed. - Every site has a fire pit. Hot showers and clean, decent toilets. Good mobile signal for Telstra and Optus networks. Two Communal Fridges and a cold communal spa. There is lots of space for campers so you will have privacy whilst you enjoy your camping adventure. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. Good fishing. Pretty much everywhere you can wet a line. Prawns are best bait. If your dog is on the government list of restricted breeds or on the dangerous dog list please leave at home We have a gentle, well trained old German Shepherd who adores kids but after being bitten by another dog, now prefers to stay inside the house and not visit the camp sites. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. The reason being if you are a large group turning up late, you will ruin the camping experience of other campers who got there earlier to watch the sunset and just chill. Furthermore, the sunsets are one of the reasons people come here. Every single day it is totally different. If you arrive late you have missed it.... 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a slope. We do have several flat areas for tents , hybrids, camper vans and small caravans. And we have 6 levelling blocks scattered across the sites. Dead flat is a concrete slab at any caravan park anywhere but here.

An exclusive, natural camping experience situated on the beautiful Gloucester River under the picturesque Bucketts Mountains. We are just 5 minutes from Gloucester CBD. The Bucketts are within the country belonging to the Biripi and Worimi peoples, with Gloucester being known as Mookibakh. In the native language, the Bucketts mountains (the Buccan Buccan) means the “father of stones looking down on sacred land.” As an active beef farm we may have cattle in the paddock you camp in but the site will be secured by temporary electric fencing to ensure your safety. Hence, we ONLY allow dogs to stay whilst on a lead or tethered run at all times. Dogs sighted off a leash will result in you leaving immediately with no refund. Most of the year the river is lovely and clear and ideal for swimming, fishing, photography or just enjoying. Wedgetail Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Black Shouldered Kites, Kookaburras and Butcher Birds life in the area. As do kangaroos, possums and echidnas. Our night skies are very clear, no pollution here! All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent). Our sites are ideal for self-contained vans, camper trailers, medium motor homes, tents or swags, it’s up to you. You must have your own toilet facilities and take away all waste. This is very important and an absolutely essential requirement for all visitors. As is the case with general rubbish. You should bring sufficient water with you as we do not provide drinking or potable water. You will have very good mobile and internet coverage across the property. When you make a reservation at the property we will always endeavour to put you in your preferred location as best we can. However if we are impacted by adverse weather or need to run cattle on certain parts of the farm then we may need to make a change to the actual site you are in and trust you understand. Fernbrook welcomes your furry companions too but requires dogs to be supervised and leashed at all times for their safety and that of our livestock. Leaving dogs off-leash may lead to eviction without refund, and any harm to livestock or dogs must be avoided. Basic amenities include a toilet (please bring your own environmentally friendly toilet paper) and shower. Campers may use our rainwater to fill their tanks, and hot water connections are available, with campers providing their own gas bottles. A small kitchenette equipped with a sink, cupboards, microwave, and power outlets for fry pans is available, with clear labeling of personal belongings. We provide firepits for your enjoyment and offer firewood upon request for a fee. Alternatively, campers may bring their own firewood. Please remember to take all waste with you upon departure.

Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Come stay with us at the Hunter River bush camp, located on our 20 acres! The campsites are located on our lower paddock - secluded and private. You will be likely not see another human in your time down there. Theres plenty of space for large groups and vehicles. As to maintain the private and secluded nature of this site, we have limited the space to 1 site only so you'll have the place to yourself! The bottom camp is small and level - good for single groups of 1-2 vehicles, the upper camp is on a bit of a slope and may require chocks for vans and the like, but great for larger groups. Both camps are adjacent to each other so you can take one, or take the lot! all included in the same booking and price The Hunter River is a short 5min walk down the stone steps, where you and your dogs can fish, swim or enjoy a cold can. The property has good access - less than 10mins from Hunter Expressway. 1hr40mins from Wahroonga, 40mins from Jesmond Full phone coverage on all parts of the property Fires are permitted - firewood available for purchase during booking. Dogs are allowed. The camp is a long way from the house, so off lead camping is OK on this site - ideally your dog will have a good recall as we are in the bush Note that there are no toilets provide, this is a bush camp.
