Located on the stunning Tumut River, where River Red gums are scattered though out the camp,offering shade, privacy, and comfort. Here you have clear Snowy River water at your doorstep. It's so fresh we drink it! Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level. You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. This was our second time staying at Jarabin - it’s one of our family’s favourite HipCamps. The property is beautiful and quiet, and we ordered the BBQ pack again which was brilliant. Instructions to access the property are very clear and easy to follow. Although the weekend ended pretty wet, the weather held out long enough for a post-dinner swim in the river with the sunset in the background. Pretty close to perfection!

This was our third stay here in 3 years and it still is our favourite camping spot. Wayne as always was a great host. It's so tranquil with the great grassy camp sites combined with the river the bird life the cattle the views of the surrounding area and maybe a trout or two make it just so relaxing. The new toilets were a added bonus. It's only a 10 minute drive Into town for supplies and entertainment. We will be back again next year. Rob

A beautiful place! Peaceful, serene camping right next to the river. Was lovely to wake up to cattle wandering close by in the morning. Wayne’s directions were great, and the added firewood was abundant! Pity my fire lighting skills are less than average. Would love to stay again sometime.

Wayne was very accommodating and good with communication. Sites are well mowed and maintained. We went for a weekend fishing trip and unfortunately the river was flowing too fast with release of water for us to fish at the site. Regardless the campground is perfect, lots of shade, 5 mins into Tumut and a great host!

Wow, I travel extensively throughout Australia with my Campervan and this is up there with best sites available. Right on the Murrumbidgee River, theres only 3 campsites, all spread avout 100m apart to ensure privacy. Campfires permitted and catered for and Ben even provides Black Angus beef and accompanying wines for those keen to sample local produce. Will return ASAP. 5 stars and a must visit. Highly reccomend.

4 nights at BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Wagga Wagga

I absolutely loved camping at Ingenia! Highly recommend this unpowered site for anyone with an off-grid setup — perfect if you’ve got your own power and water sorted. It’s heaps cheaper than any accommodation in Wagga too. I stayed for five days and really enjoyed it. Fellow campers were super friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed, peaceful vibe — great if you’re after some peace of mind. The toilets and shower areas were clean and tidy, and there was no issue with hot water even when I showered late in the evening. I even locked up my caravan and headed out for the day — did that every day during my stay here — and each evening I came back to find everything just as I’d left it. Safe as!
