Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park.
To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers.
We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage.
Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks.
The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay.
Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins.
Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp.
Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream.

Our little farm is part of the original Dairy farm of the area circa 1880 Model Farm and we are currently renovating and revegetating the property. We have two spring fed creeks that meet at the front of the property in front with a swimming hole, we are surrounded by National Parks, pristine beaches and the beautiful Nethercote Falls is only 5 minutes up the road. Close to two sweet coastal towns, Eden 7minutes and Pambula 15minutes drive.
Lots of bird and insect life along with our little herd of sheep and geese.
We are currently developing permaculture systems for our home and garden and part of the system is we have a composting toilet for campers!
We love animals and we are happy for you to bring your dog only if it is friendly with other dogs because we have 4 friendly dogs here. As long as you keep your dog on a lead as we have livestock. Please contact us prior to discuss dog situation.

Riverview Kiah is offering one campsite nestled on a very quiet part of the Kiah/Towamba river. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves.
You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage.
The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming.
The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder.
If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway.
There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average).
Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival.

Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents.
We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!
Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.
Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily.
Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water.
Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.

The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong.
A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place.
There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees.
Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape.
The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite.
A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin.
All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it.

Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.
Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.

Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more.
Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread.
The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf.
There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.

Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property.
The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm.
The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape.
There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance.
A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc.
Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter.
Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated.
All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground.
All river access points are shared, be mindful of others.
As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family,
all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way.

Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park.
To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers.
We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage.
Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks.
The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay.
Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins.
Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp.
Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream.

Riverview Kiah is offering one campsite nestled on a very quiet part of the Kiah/Towamba river. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves.
You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage.
The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming.
The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder.
If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway.
There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average).
Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival.

There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.
For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property.
The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm.
The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape.
There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance.
A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc.
Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter.
Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated.
All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground.
All river access points are shared, be mindful of others.
As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family,
all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way.
May common sense prevail.

Guests staying with us are required to be fully self contained with their own water and toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
The Patch is located just 8 km from the charming town of Candelo, where you’ll find a great pub meal and an infamous and excellent cafe/general store.
Half an hours drive to the beach (Merimbula) and 35 minutes to Bega, do as little or as much as you feel like!

Meredith was a great host, very obliging with lots of help with directions on the best places to camp and the properties facilities. Lots of room on a huge property, each site is well spaced away from each other. Plenty of wildlife to see when you’re out exploring the property.

I stayed at one of the river spots. The sites are really large and level. Only one (maybe 2) have actual views of the river the others are blocked by a fence and bush. Yes you can hear a little road noise but it is fairly minimal considering the location. It was a really nice place to stay but for mid-week in March I personally thought it was slightly overpriced considering it is right n beside a main road, but as I said the sites are large and level and it looked like most of the sites in the paddock had both power and water on each site. The river sites have no power but have a tap and a cold outdoor shower next to the river for sites to share. Site 1 is in a corner next to the river but separated from the river with a fence and bush, sites 2,3,4 are all in a line back from the river a little bit.

This site had a large land area such that quiet privacy in a bushland environment was assured. Meredith was helpful.
To our observation there was not a lot of variation in quality between the sites, the main variable being distance from toilets.

We had a great stay at this private campsite. The location is beautiful, with lovely views over the river and perfect weather while we were there—comfortable temperatures with a nice breeze.
The firepit was a highlight, great for morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon watching the river and fish jumping. Our dogs loved it too, with warm water, good swimming spots, sandy areas, and a private beach to play on.
It’s a really peaceful spot, with plenty of birdlife and a well-kept, bindi-free grassed area so we could go barefoot. Easy access down to the river made it even better.
Trent was a fantastic host and very accommodating. The fresh eggs and homemade sausages were a great bonus.
Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Staying at Millingandi station for the three nights was a wonderful experience. Peaceful, tranquil. The river was just gorgeous. Jodie was absolutely gorgeous. The farm fresh eggs were to die for and the fresh herbs in the garden really were a treat. I would highly recommend staying here.

Loved this camp and the owners were so helpful and friendly. Best camping spot we've been to on the Far South Coast. Great fishing, kayaking and the owners even let us borrow their kayak, and swimming. Great fire pit, pristine toilet and there's power and water available if you need. Beautiful relaxing, quiet spot in nature. Manicured lawns to set up your camp on. Honestly if I had to put a rating on it, I would give it 4 and a half stars and can't wait to go back.

Had a great stay at Jodie's place. We stayed down by the river. Sites were so spacious. Our neighbours were far from us. Short walk to the drop toilet. Well maintained. Loved the small things such as the soap by the toilets. A hole had been drilled through it and attached to the tap. So loved the communal veggie garden. Had some delicious beetroot and herbs.
Much better option than staying in crowded caravan park in town.
We will return!

Wow! What a property! So picturesque! We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, so we switched from site 4 to 2 as it was closer to the area where you access the water. The water was lovely and calm too. As per the other reviews, the grass is really greener🤣 no bindis whatsoever! There were black cockatoos + galahs flying over us and a pack of deers trotting through the property at times.
Only downfall for us was that we caught some marine warning wind for a couple of days as it was in a valley of some kind, our tent caught lots of wind! Overall loved it!

What a great camp setup. The camp shed with the kitchen and shower is like being in an Australian outback type feel but in green pasture land. Water, flushing toilet even electric power is available. Outdoor bath is well placed for an overlooking view of the valley. Highly recommend.

Perfect 2 night spot for easy access to the Eden Gravity MTB Park. My brother and I had three great days Gravity and also a short ride into Nethercote Falls.
The camp was private and the swimming was perfect. Great spot and would recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the sapphire homestead site. The views are incredible and it's so quiet and relaxing. The added bonus of possibly the most luxurious shower with hot water! Better than hotel showers! We stayed for 3 nights and had one of those nights with no other campers so we had a beautiful outdoor bath. Our hosts kept us updated during the stay.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this Hipcamp. Julie and David were very welcoming and helpful. It’s is situated not far from Merimbula and Pambula so great location for exploring the area. Had a great meal at the local pub which is not far away. There is a nice level spot to park your van and the toilet with a view is clean and no smells! Highly recommend this Hipcamp, great value for money.

This place is amazing!! A small group of us camped in total privacy in both tents and a camping trailer. The ground was so green and soft and level. It had the nicest pit toilet
I’ve seen just for our use. The river is gorgeous, our dogs loved it! And a few of us had a quick dip just for the experience tho the weather was a little cold! We will definitely be staying here again, hopefully soon!
