Take your LILOs and canoes over to Conjurong Point and float up and down this glorious river. Just returned from a weekend with our old dog at Wombat Flat, great place to unwind. Large level area that is private and quiet. Plenty of shade if it’s hot and about 50m from a wide slow flowing creek (beware submerged branches from recent floods?). Very peaceful, no boats, tiny whisper of traffic noise that gets drowned out by the birds. Wombat one night, friendly horses and cows if you go for a wander thru the paddocks. Thought it was a little pricey but there was a pile of cut wood at camp and the solitude was just what we were looking for. If you’re looking to be entertained you won’t find it at Wombat Flats, strictly BYO fun in whatever form you choose. Sanctuary Point, Huskisson,

Weekend Trip to Sussex Horses For Healing

We loved our stay at Horses for healing at Sussex Inlet and would highly recommend this spot for anyone who is looking to stay at quiet and secluded spot. The property was easy to find and host met us at arrival. Campground is located near the paddock with alpacas and a donkey (host told that we could pet them, but they were shy and kept their distance, so we decided not to disturb them). We saw many kangaroos during our stay as well. Overall nice spot and would try to come again during warmer months.

Great spot, with a fully fenced paddock for those with dogs. About a 25 min walk to the town of Hilltop. Site has Optus mobile coverage. There is a bit of road noise. Tabitha is very friendly and helpful.

Weekend Trip to Oak Hill.

We really enjoyed our three nights at Glinda Hill. Wed originally booked for two nights but decided it wasn’t enough time so extended for a third. Tabitha has mown a lovely, large, open space. Very private and loads of sunshine for charging our solar panels. Wilson Drive is close by so you can hear some cars during the day, but we didn’t mind it at all and the nights are super peaceful. Our doggoes enjoyed free ranging in our paddock. Hill Top village is very close by and has everything you might need. Mittagong, Bowral and Berrima are only a short drive away, so this is a fantastic base for exploring the area. We can recommend the Eden Brewery (Mittagong) for a beer and burger, as well as 1834 if looking for a pub lunch in Berrima (both dog friendly). We also rate Baked in Berrima for delicious bread and baked goods. We’ll definitely keep Glinda Hill in our “Favourites” list, especially given its relatively close proximity to Sydney. Thank you Tabitha!

We loved Lisa’s farm. It’s a lovely big flat area with great fire pit and small covered shed that you can use. There is a porta a loo on site. It is peaceful with birds wallabies and horses around, walks into the bush and a short drive into Sussex inlet, lakes and Cudmirrah. We explored the area and found lots of beaches good surf and coffee too! Would definitely return. Lisa and her husband were very helpful and kind.

We loved camping in our Van here! There is so much space, it’s private and peaceful! There is mobile phone reception (Optus!), being able to have a fire and being dog friendly is a bonus! Being not far off the road there is the occasional road/traffic noise but this didn’t bother us one bit - the sounds of the birds in the morning and the nearby Rooster were just perfect! We highly recommend this property and Tabitha was amazing! Thank you so much for having us! We look forward to coming back one day!

It was just awesome to finally set up a camp you didn't have to worry about. Didn't need to secure any gear when going out adventuring for the day. Set up all our solar in the perfect spot to charge then enjoyed th e beautiful little towns and gorgeous beaches close by. Nowra was well appointed with everything we needed. Open fires every night using the provided fire pit and the nearby river for utility water was so convenient and enjoyable

Lovely, private field campsite surrounded by long grass, with a billabong in bottom corner. It is close to Hill Top, a unique railway town, only a couple kms up the road, which has food stores, a bakery and even a small Chinese restaurant. Public toilets are found at the community centre on Wilson Dr.
