There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. We are on 37 acres on the beautiful mid-north coast of New South Wales, offering a peaceful and pretty location to pull up for a night or a few. On our property, we have some cattle that roam and our dogs. We have a gorgeous dam where you can watch the abundant birds going about their day, and in the evening, watch the colours dance as the sun sets. The access road to the property is tar and is only about 5 minutes from the main road between Kempsey and Frederickton, so it's an ideal stopover for one night or a few. Kempsey is only a 10-minute drive away, Port Macquarie only about 45 minutes, and the beaches of Crescent Head and South West Rocks are the same. All campers need to be self-contained with their own camp toilet.

Stunning views. Perfect place to relax with a book, draw, bird watch or take photographs. Birds, kangaroos, cows and lizards are abundant here. Fresh water creek is safe for cooking or a quick dip. (Note water isn’t very deep) . Local sights include Taree and Wingham 30min. The villages of Lansdowne, Coopernook, Harrington, Crowdy Head all no more than 30 min drive away. Stay a few days, visit quaint country towns, lookouts, waterfalls, beaches and so much more. This site looks up to amazing escapements views. Ground can be damp if it’s been raining, we recommend you bring levelling blocks just in case. There is plenty of room to move around. Our Property offers a peaceful, quiet and calm place to relax and unwind. There are fenced in cows on property. Please leave gates how you find them. Some fences are electric. Children are welcome but must be fully supervised at all times. Pets welcome but must be on a lead at all times, photo of pets must be supplied at time of booking. Pets to be kept inside at night. (Please pick up after them) We are a super friendly family of 3 with pets of our own. We are also pretty knowledgeable of the areas and can recommend things to do and places to visit. At certain times there will be fruit grown on the property available for purchase. Please note that there are no food/ drink shops close by (30min away) please bring all supplies with you. What an amazing find!!! A beautiful location to get away from it all. The property was impeccably maintained and the host Mark was absolutely lovely. His recommendations were spot on! We really loved setting up camp for the night, enjoying the stars and cooking over our fire. Our dog was absolutely thrilled to be off leash too and run and sniff around. Katie met us at the gate. She was very friendly and offered her pool to the kids. There is a toilet at the back of the garage and the wide open paddock. Molly (Katie's dog) was an absolute hit with the kids! She is super friendly and playful. The scenery is quite beautiful too - rolling hills on the background, so tranquil. I would definitely recommend Katie's farm for family with kids.

Highly recommend this Hipcamp The entrance into the property was very inviting with a long road lined with trees and followed the river leading to the Farm house with a huge turning circle for caravans. The host Troy & Angella were friendly, informative and our site number 1 was right on the river. We had no trees in front of our site just some small plants. So we had full view of the river. There are steps leading down to the river which is sandy and good for swimming (which our dog Bonnie loved). You can have a small fire but we didn’t feel the need at this time of year. The grounds are very well maintained and nice green grass. We would highly recommend this Hipcamp and shall be returning again.

Our stay at Ian's Hipcamp was everything we dreamed of and more. The camping spot is perfectly situated right on a beautiful, winding creek, offering the ultimate private escape. We were able to set up our camper right on the sandy bank, giving us direct access to the water for swimming and relaxing. The location is incredibly picturesque, featuring a stunning contrast between the lush, dense greenery lining the river on one side and an open, sunny field on the other. It feels wonderfully wild yet totally accessible. A huge shout-out to our incredible hosts, Ian and Bobbie! They were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They even surprised us with a batch of homemade brownies—such a thoughtful touch that truly elevated our stay. If you're looking for a truly peaceful, secluded experience to disconnect and enjoy nature, this is the place. Ian and Bobbie have created a hidden paradise—we can't wait to come back!
