376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). If you have queries regarding access check photos in gallery or please ask me. Flushing toilet on site. Dogs permitted. Good telephone and internet reception. Ideal for flying your new drone.

Millwood is located 6kms from COOMA n.s.w. in the Snowy Mountains Region and is within easy reach to a number of great locations. It is about 90 minutes from Canberra, just over an hour from Thredbo and Perisher and Mt Selwyn snowfields and 1.5 hours from all the beautiful beaches that the South Coast has to offer. A short drive of under 7 minutes takes you to the Murrumbidgee River on a sealed council road. There is a flat grassed picnic area and council gas run b-bques under cover. You may find internet and mobile not fully covered here. I have a mobile that I use which works well depending where I stand. Now has 3 adjacent camp sites available. If not booked by others its a quiet spot amongst a bush setting. also offers an RV site. You can relax around your firepit and enjoy watching the beautiful wildlife that come to visit the property including Kangaroos, Wombats and a variety of native birds. The host runs a Day Spa from her home so you may like to treat yourself to some self care. Please check with host as to availability of Spa Treatments. Why not check out our outdoor clawfoot bath during your stay. It's an amazing experience under the stars! Tank water is available but please use sparingly. The surrounding region is hugely popular for cyclists and bushwalkers with many great tracks available to explore. Mt Gladstone now has a popular track and Iread there are plans for a big upgrade. There is a lookout at the top and can recommend Miss Heides Austrian Restaurent. Amazing authentic home cooked bavarian meals in a rustic log cabin with a fireplace. The Murrumbidgee River is just about 4 klms away, where you can enjoy a picnic along it's banks and take a dip if it's warm enough. We prefer campers who are fully self contained. Campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is an outside basic toilet that is a compost type with sawdust and is cleaned regularly. No pets please as we have a wildlife corridor here. * I am considering quiet well behaved pets for campers but not in the bush hut. Will verify soon*.

Absolutely stunning. This place is a must do if in the area. Located close to Bega makes seeing the town very easy. We had the luck of being the only ones here during our 3 nights and would happily have stayed longer. The camp is located all by itself on the property making it feel truly secluded, with an amazing outlook over the property. Thanks Norm & Narelle for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your backyard.

Stayed 2 nights at the homestead nestled up on top of a hill. Amenities were fantastic which included power warm showers microwave and prepping area. The views of the Bega valley were amazing. Fantastic spot.

Such an absolutely incredible majestic camping spot Norm and Narelle have created. Stunning views to the valley and national park, rolling green fields, a choir of bird life , outdoor tub and firepits and amenities. We were spoilt staying here. This is a must for travellers not to miss out on. A real gem. Thank you Norm, Narelle and of course Bailey their welcoming dog for a lovely stay.

I’ve stayed here three times now, and this time I brought my family. it never disappoints. The property has such a peaceful, freeing atmosphere that instantly helps you unwind. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the stay even more special. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and it’s the perfect place to escape from busy city life. Sleeping under the stars here is magical , you won’t find a better spot for it. I loved the outdoor bath under the sky, and the hot showers were a great comfort after a day spent exploring. Being on a working dairy farm added to the charm. Watching the cows and soaking in the quiet rhythm of farm life was so grounding. Their friendly dog, Bailey, even came up last night and sat with me in my swag, such a sweet and comforting moment. To top it off, we made s’mores by the fire, with the smell of wood smoke in the air. It doesn’t get much better than that. Can’t wait to come back again.

Staying at Norm’s place was nothing short of magical. Set on a beautiful, rolling green hilltop, the farm offers a peaceful retreat with wide-open space perfect for setting up a swag or tent. The highlight? A bath overlooking the hills, with curious cows wandering up to the fence—absolute bliss! Norm and his family were incredibly warm and hospitable, making me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The setup was incredibly thoughtful, with everything you could need—clean showers, toilets, access to power, water, and even a fridge. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating this special space. I felt so privileged to stay here and be part of such a serene and stunning environment. Thank you, Norm, for sharing your little slice of paradise with the world. I’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved this camp! The scenery is stunning, the facilities were wonderful, from the hot showers to the bath and fire pits and even the kitchen we can’t rate it more highly. Norm, narelle and Tom gave us An amazing farm tour and our kids saw cows being milked and a calf being born. We ate some of narelles delicious baking which was such a sweet surprise We used the 4x4 trails off the back of the property to explore fire trails that took us to heaps of near by towns and saw many shooting stars at night. This is a 10/10 camp.

This was my second visit to this awesome camp over Easter weekend. All sites were full but everyone was fairly quiet, friendly and respectful of each others space and use of shared facilities. The bath, hot showers, fire pits, cooking appliances and wash up area are great. Not to mention the awesome views. I will be back again and again.

Wow! This is the BEST campsite I've ever stayed at. Absolutely stunning camping on the top of the hill, looking out at the cow farm and mountains in the distance. It has all the amenities, is dog friendly and not too busy. The cherry on top was having a hot bath with a view of the stars. Should be fine accessing with a 2WD. Has some really nice towns and beaches within a 45 min drive. Will definitely be coming back.
