We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin
National
Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

We have a beachfront queen room in our family surf shack with direct beach access onto South Golden Beach, which is patrolled out the front in summer, which means you can leave the Cocabana up all day as a beachroom. Lovely spot. The cabin was clean, new and had everything we needed. The hosts even had milk, eggs and berries in the fridge for us. WiFi was available. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. We were only staying as a stopover on a long trip but I would definitely recommend it for a longer stay.

Amazing camping location. The campgrounds were exactly as described, well maintained and easy to access. We had a relaxing and wonderful time with our two dogs. The private river is beautiful and surrounded by stunning scenery.
We also spent a few nights in the tiny home, which was equally enjoyable and very convenient, with access to the BBQ, deck, and comfortable lounge area.
Dan and Kristy were excellent hosts and very accommodating. By far best communication we’ve experienced at any Hipcamp we’ve stayed at.
We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful spot in the country! Dog and I thoroughly enjoyed swimming, sunbaking, running around on the grass and more swimming! The dirt road to access was a breeze with a 4x4 and a bit of added fun. The tiny home is everything as described. It's clean, comfortable and in my opinion glamping as it had a bbq, hot shower and toilet. Most of the campsites are a good distance apart so you can't see other campers, there's only once site that's close to others. I was very fortunate as it wasn't booked whilst I stayed in the tiny home. Kristy is very down to earth, easy going and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway for myself and doggo.

Absolutely loved our time here! The tiny home was perfect for my parents and we stayed in our rooftop tent right next to it. The creek was beautiful and peaceful and we had fun tubing down the creek. Birdsong and wildlife were stunning and we also loved the wild cows making and appearance.
The only thing I would mention is that the BBQ is screaming out for deep clean. And if you are in to your cooking, the amenities for cooking are very basic so bring extra utensils, cutlery, oil etc.

First time “glamping” instead of camping and What an incredible experience from booking to packing up to head home the entire process was made incredibly easy and enjoyable with Kristy & Dan being an absolute stand out as hosts. We stayed in the tiny home “Tiny house on the Rockies” and what can we say except BOOK IT NOW! absolutely everything was provided just bring your food, bevies and fishing rods! The tiny home was perfect to retire to after a fun and relaxing day taking in the parcel of paradise! The giant covered deck was an absolute gem, with rocking chairs and outdoor lounge and a top of the line bbq/kitchen set up we happily lazed the days away with the dogs (yes it’s dog friendly! And we were made to feel so welcome with the fur babies!) in the shade watching the river, morning coffees as the dew broke and evenings watching the stars come out and illuminated the sky from the outdoor bath. The tubes make for a fun lazy float down the river in the warmth of the day and the fire fueled bath tub perfect to warm up and unwind as the evening weather cooled off. We can’t wait to go back and experience it in winter. Thank you so much to Kristy and Dan for a 10/10 experience!

So, so beautiful. We ( Nan, Mum and the kids) stayed in the tiny home. It had everything you needed to escape in comfort. Dan and Kristy are so friendly and helpful. We must have floated down the river 30 times whilst the Wedge-tail Eagle flew overhead. There's an abundance of bird life. The outdoor bath was sensational. So many perfect moments. The kids had so much fun 4wd driving down and back up the hill on the way back too. Only regret- not staying longer. What a ripper spot 👌.

2nd time staying at Eagle Ridge. This time, we stayed in the tiny house 10/10 guys. Kristy and Dan had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Great spot for our furkids to run and swim. We had a storm and showers on the first night but not even that bothered us. Highly recommend staying at the tiny house 💯%
The battery powered lighting in the house was just perfect, the ambience was lovely and a great battery powered fan for sleeping was a added bonus.
We will definitely be returning in the future.

2 nights at Amorata Eco Farm
We loved Stuart's place for a peaceful getaway from the hustle & bustle. Is positioned perfectly for nearby walking trails & visits to quaint local villages. The Forest Gypsy tiny home is nestled amongst a beautiful canopy, is very private and has the basic essentials to get you through the day. A fire pit, sauna and nature pool were on offer but we didn't take advantage of these. Stuart was very kind to let us pick fruit from his orchard - the scent of the orange blossoms was divine. Sushi the dog happily greeted us each day, with plenty of cuddles & kisses. Taking in the clean country air, gazing at the night time sky and mingling with the resident fireflies was an absolute pleasure. Stuart was very personable & ensured our stay was most enjoyable :-). We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Hazy Stays
Beautiful view. My boyfriend and I spent majority of our time on the little deck. We didn’t get to experience the goats because they were doing maintenance elsewhere but 2 ducks visited once while we were there. The windows are tinted and the shower has amazing water pressure. The toilet is a compost toilet inside the tiny home bathroom and the shower is outside on the deck (still covered and has a sink). I didn’t have much reception at the tiny home but that could be different for others depending on what network you are with (for example my boyfriend reception occasionally worked). It is on a quiet street and lovely area. The family do live and work from the land aswell but they have made it barely noticeable they are there. The deck has a beautiful kitchen which the wall of that expands out further for privacy. Aswell as bushes in place to give it that extra block. They had a wonderful book that had recommendations of where to go and where to eat, whilst we were there we only ate and went to anything on the book since it was our first time there. I recommend the potty mouth pizza, Okky chips, the breakfast place in Pottsville was absolutely amazing and our favourite activity was sunflower picking at farm and co.
