There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park. What stood out was location, in amongst orchards and vines, vineyards next door to enjoy, and campsite set up in a wonderful green surrounded by lovely shady trees. Great having power and water available with amenities a short walk from sites. However, the amenities could be cleaner and were in need of attention. Easy drive to all the sites to see and enjoy around and in Orange.

It was a great place to camp with beautiful scenery. Really cool driving there with a 4wd, just try to get there before it's dark or it gets a bit tricky to find the location. Make sure you get to spend a bit more time as I was in a bit of rush and didn't get to really fully enjoy it as much as I'd love like to but other than that it was really good. Especially if you get up early in the morning is a lot of nature around and it's a very beautiful place.

Plenty of room. For our medium sized van. Very quiet. Great that you can have a fire. Amenities are basic but do the job. There were only 4 or 5 vans and tents when we were there so there may be some queuing if things get busy. Great location, only 10 or 15 minutes into Orange. Site 1 nestled under the huge spreading tree is the pick of the sites. TV transmitter is so close that it’s easy to tune any station——great for the Grand Final.
