Our property has an abundance of wildlife and Peg Leg creek that meanders through, while not being large enough for water activities, it is nice to dip your toes in on a hot day or to go exploring along. You might be lucky enough to spot a koala or two. We offer spacious, shady & private camp sites. Tinonee general store is nearby and is well stocked for all your essential needs. Or a 15 minute scenic drive to the charming town of Wingham where you'll find pubs, a museum, Wingham Brush Nature reserve and lovely boutique shops. Taree is also only 15 minutes away. Some of the best mountain bike trails NSW has to offer can be found right next door in Kiwarrak State Forest. Cool off at Charity Creek a popular local swimming spot or visit some of the Mid Coasts most stunning beaches only a short drive away. Lots of interesting markets close by including Black Head Bazaar, Nabiac Farmers, Old Bar Community markets just to name a few. Fires permitted in the designated fire pits depending on fire danger rating. Firewood available. We have no facilities on the property so campers must be fully self contained. Falcons Nest is located 2 km from the amazing Blackhead Beach. It is an easily accessed semi-rural 25 acre property at Hallidays Point 20 minutes from Forster/Tuncurry. The Blackhead Tavern is within walking distance or you can grab the courtesy bus right from the front gate. Our local foodworks is just down the road. I'ts also just a 20-minute drive to Forster/Tuncurry. We have ample open space to park extra large motorhomes or small self-contained caravans. Power and water can be provided within the Big Shed sites. If Self contained camping is more your thing our paddock sites can cater to groups. The Property has treed areas along with some cleared paddocks so you can easily find some space to spread out as a group or on your own. There's a dam and dry creek bed with lots of bush down the back, and wallabies can be seen feeding most mornings and afternoons at the back of the property. For long stays please contact us for extended stay rates. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities.

We had a great time at Halacal Farm! Stayed one night with our dog. We camped up on the ridge as we felt out car couldn't make it into the valley site but Luke was a great accommodating host, finding a perfect spot for us with great sunset views. In the morning we met the Highland Cows, what a wonderful experience. Thanks Luke!

We loved this spot. Nestled away with the sound of nature, is just what we wanted. Luke met us and showed us our spot and was a very friendly host. Dogs enjoyed relaxing by a fire and the smells on the land. We got to brush and pat the gorgeous cows also. We would highly reccommend Lukes place.

Absolutely loved camping here! Luke's friendliness was incredible! The Firefly Ridge is situated at the back of Luke's property with an incredible sunset view you don't want to miss! The Highlander Cows are a must see! I won't give any any secrets but you'll have to ask Luke for the BIG Highlanders name 🤔.

This site is exactly as described in the listing. It is a simple site that was an ideal stopover for us. It is well located, an easy drive to local areas including Shoal Bay. Plenty of space between pitches so we had our own little spot. No complaints from us. We were aware of the proximity to the road, so used ear plugs and had an undisturbed night's sleep. Can't speak to the facilities as we didn't use them. It may not be for everyone but I think Anouke and Sacha have been clear about the site and what to expect.

We loved the location and privacy of site 3. There was ample shade and a creek nearby. The kids enjoyed exploring and collected sticks a to make a campfire. This spot was close to town and within 30mins or so to the beach. There’s a shower on site too, although we didn’t get to use it- gas bottle required. The thunderstorms were beautiful from this paddock too!

Peaceful and secluded campsite even in the middle of school holidays. Very helpful hosts. Great location, a few mins from Anna Bay, Nelson Bay and Stockton Sands etc. There is a bit of road noise at night, but not enough to stop anyone from sleeping. Was a very enjoyable stay and we would happily recommend to others, and plan to go back ourselves.

Beautiful spacious and secure area. Plenty of firewood to get a fire going. Definitely worth it! Only thing to mention is that the working dog/dogs could be heard keeping their herd safe throughout the night. Didn't faze us but young babies could be disrupted. Both our kids slept no issues.

We were originally on site 1 and then moved to site 3 as it was a bit flatter. Lots of holes in the ground which we had to be careful of. All sites were very spacious and private. The only downside to this camp was the road noise as the sites are directly next to the road. In our caravan we couldn’t hear it at night though but sitting outside it was loud. Lots of firewood to cut up around the sites and there were designated fire pits also. They had a gas shower overlooking the forest which looked like it would be amazing but wasn’t hooked up to the gas.

We loved our stay at Halacal farm. It’s now one of our favourite hipcamps. We had a huge private site with beautiful views of the valley. The whole area is gorgeous. Loved having the horses around us and the fireflies lit up at night made our camp so magical. Luke the host is such an awesome guy too. He’s a genuine top bloke. Even despite the fact our Simba got into a very surprising scruff with his beautiful Titan he never made us feel anything but welcome. He was always accomodating and helpful with anything we needed and told us about some beautiful spots to check out. Missing it there already. Will definitely be back. Thank you Luke and the fam you’re amazing! Thinking of Titan and hoping he’s ok xx

We were really happy with this spot. Paul was very accommodating as we were arriving late he still managed to help us to our spot and connect us with water. The plot is dog friendly so my highlight was definately the next day when we were really able to see the plot we were on and let our dog roam freely and safely. Would recommend!

I loved camping here, it’s close to home and yet feels so far away from everyone. If you’re seeking solitude with views - this is your place. Luke is a diligent host, great comms and will make you feel welcome. His dog Tyson is a great guide and guard. He kept us company, is very well mannered and likes to keep watch over the campers. I felt very safe on Luke’s farm.

Weekend Trip to Halacal Farm

Had an awesome weekend at Halacal Farm - Lambs Valley. Very private camp site with beautiful views and a fantastic host. Our border collie had a ball pretending to be a free range dog (off lead campsite), but remember she was a house dog when she got tired after a few rounds of fetch. We had horses in the paddock with us and the farm husky stayed with us all weekend keeping us safe and making sure we didn’t get lost when exploring. We also saw an echidna 🦔 and some kangaroos, but the big highlight was the resident highland cows… our daughter got to feed them, she was so excited and loved every second of it.

Really enjoyed camping here! Feels very remote and tranquil in evening/night. Perfect place to just stop for a night to get away from the busy holiday parks - we had the place to ourselves, made a bonfire and bbq food, all in all a great experience.
